The facts, the stubbornness and the results: here is what has marked the career of Federico Scavo (born in Fucecchio on February 23rd, 1974) until today, a disc-jockey since 1991 and a record producer since 1994. Scavo has performed in the most exclusive clubs on earth: his music has resounded two steps away from the desert, at the "Pacha" in Sharm El Sheikh, in the middle of Egypt; then Scavo flew to Switzerland, to the "Oxa". Back home, the participation in one of the most popular "onenights" in the world: the "Supalova" of Joe T. Vannelli. It is a nonstop journey, in and out of Italian borders; from the "Lipa" in Lubijana, Slovenia, to the "Tenax" and the "Yab" in Florence, just to remain in his Tuscany; and again, in Versilia, at the "Seven Apples", at the "Faruk" and the "Capannina di Franceschi", or at the "Tartana" in Grosseto, without mentioning a number of clubs where he was the protagonist. What about his musical style?" House music, a little funky, also influenced by the latest innovative 'electro'; the appeal of the Seventies mix with flashes of tribal music. Anyway there is a parallel activity in Scavo's life: record production. In Canada he had already been awarded with four platinum records for selling over 400 thousand copies of the song "This Is The Night" by the New System. And in 1998 there is a good start with labels like Subway, Energy and Dwa. However it is in 1999 that he starts a mark which will establish itself more and more, mainly like a guarantee seal; it is the "Hot Coffee Productions". 2002 is not the turning point but the year of full recognition: Scavo achieves the record project "Hot Coffe Presents Pink Coffee" and the cover of the famous hit "Another brick in the wall" by the Pink Floyd. Before appearing in record shops the song is golden record in Italy thanks to 25 thousand copies sold. "Exceptionally, Roger Waters, the leader of Pink Floyd, after listening to my remix, gave us the consent to publish it officially", Scavo says. The value added to this project is the video fully made in Berlin and broadcast all over the world by Mtv and other music Tv channels. The following year the "Hot Coffee Production" adds to it: it creates songs like "Disco Night" by Plateau Royal and "Turn Around And Dance" sung by Sabrinaah Pope. Then the fabulous voice gives space to the percussions of a master og the kind like Silvano Del Gado, who produces "Coffee Beats Vol.1", "Coffee Beats Vol.2" and the very tribal "Coffee Beats Vol.3" with Scavo, all of these songs being at the top of world hit parades, and giving licences in the United Kingdom. At the end of summer 2004 the "Hot Coffee Productions" breaks up: Scavo looks after the publication of his first remix as a soloist: the one of "I'm Coming Up" for Made and Sax featuring Michelle Weeks. This time it is signed by Federico Scavo for the newborn "S Productions". The fantastic voice of the American singer, a myth of 'house' music, is made more powerful by the Tuscan Dj. The version "Federico Scavo Genuine Mix" is played by Sandy Rivera at the Winter Music Conference 2005 in Miami before Pete Tong, world live on Bbc Radio 1. In June 2005, Roger Sanchez includes it in his top ten. Radio 105 Network invites Scavo as a guest to the program In Da Klubb several times: 60 minutes of pure house music made in "S Productions", broadcast all over Italy and on line worldwide. In September Scavo solemnly launches two labels: the Coffee Killer Records and the Shibusa Records, the first is mood and more crossoverand classics, the second is more electronic and addressed to clubs. Since October 2005 he has protected his own rights with his new musical editions: the Scavo World Music Publishing. Instead, to keep fit, he is still performing in Switzerland, and all over Italy. In summer '06 he plays as a guest in Taiwan (Luxy Club), into Tartana Club (Follonica, Italy) and works for his label Coffee Killer Records, he produces Steve Love & Federico Scavo "U", Mo.Ca ft. Michelle Weeks "Nobody", big success record, played also by Tony Humphries dj. Such as Shibusa Records, which publishes Scavo e Guerrieri vs. Barracu ft. Sadia "Karma comes back" (played by the English top dj Steve Lawler), Luca Guerrieri’s "Last chance" and Federico Scavo’s "Respect", a project played by dj Roger Sanchez. In 2007 Scavo launches his digital label “Area94”, present with a sole right on beatport. Among his many dates in 2008, he plays at Nikki Beach in Miami, at the Grand Prix F1 in Montecarlo fot the official party Red Bull and produces Federico Scavo ft. Papi & Ania j "Tama" for his Coffee Killer Records. Moreover, Federico Scavo ft. Meme "Corda" for the German label One Louder Berlin. It must be pointed out that from 2008 Scavo produces and remixes with the pseudonym of "Miniking", too.

I fatti, la sostanza, la testardaggine e i risultati: questo e' cio' che sino ad oggi ha contraddistinto Federico Scavo (Fucecchio, 23 febbraio '74), disc jockey dal 1991 e produttore discografico dal 1994. Scavo ha suonato nei locali più particolari del pianeta: al Pacha di Sharm El Sheikh, in Egitto, poi e' volato in Svizzera, all'Oxa. Tornato in patria, ha partecipato a una delle "onenight" più popolari d'Italia, il Supalova di Joe T. Vannelli. Il viaggio e' continuo, dentro e fuori i confini italici; dal Lipa di Lubiana, in Slovenia, al Tenax e allo Yab di Firenze, e ancora, in Versilia, al Seven Apples, al Faruk e a La Capannina Di Franceschi, o al Tartana di Grosseto, senza citare una miriade di club che lo hanno visto protagonista. Il suo stile musicale? House un po' funky, ma anche influenzata dalla electro più attuale e innovativa; i richiami anni Settanta ci sono e si miscelano a sprazzi di musica tribale. Ma esiste una carriera parallela, nella vita di Scavo: quella di produttore discografico. Già in Canada venne premiato con quattro dischi di platino per aver venduto oltre 400mila copie del brano "This is the Night" dei New System. E nel '98, il giro prende inizio con etichette come Subway, Energy e Dwa. E' pero' nel ‘99 che avvia un marchio che nel tempo si affermerà sempre più, "Hot Coffee Productions". Nel 2002, la consacrazione: Scavo realizza il progetto discografico "Hot Coffee presents Pink Coffee" e la cover della celebre hit "Another Brick in The Wall" dei Pink Floyd. Il pezzo, prima dell'uscita nei negozi, e' Disco d'Oro in Italia, grazie alle 25mila copie vendute. Il progetto viene autorizzato ufficialmente da Roger Waters (leader dei Pink Floyd). Il valore aggiunto al successo e' il video girato a Berlino e trasmesso in tutto il mondo da Mtv. L'anno che segue, la Hot Coffee Productions dà vita a brani come "Disco Night" di Plateau Royal e "Turn Around and Dance", cantato da Sabrinaah Pope. Poi, la grande voce lascia lo spazio alle percussioni di un maestro del genere come Silvano Del Gado, che con Scavo produce "Coffee Beats Vol. 1", "Coffee Beats Vol. 2" e il tribalissimo "Coffee Beats Vol. 3", tutte tracce ai vertici delle classifiche mondiali. A fine estate del 2004, si registra lo scioglimento della Hot Coffee Productions. Scavo produce il suo primo remix da solista, "I'm Coming Up", per Made and Sax ft. Michelle Weeks. La firma stavolta e' di Federico Scavo per la neonata S Productions. La versione Federico Scavo Genuine Mix viene suonata da Sandy Rivera al Winter Music Conference 2005 di Miami davanti a Pete Tong, in diretta mondiale su Bbc Radio 1. Nel giugno 2005, Roger Sanchez ed Erick Morillo inseriscono il remix di Federico Scavo nella top ten. Nel contempo, Radio 105 Network lo ospita a più riprese nel programma In Da Klubb. Nel mese di settembre 2004, Scavo lancia in modo solenne due label: la Coffee Killer Records e la Shibusa Records, la prima votata a mood più crossover e classici e la seconda più elettronica e indirizzata ai club. Dall'ottobre 2005 Scavo tutela i propri diritti con le sue nuove edizioni musicali: le Scavo World Music Publishing. Scavo si esibisce con i suoi spettacolari dj set ancora in Svizzera, e in tutta Italia.
