Skupina B4 vznikla náhodou, nebo spíš zlomyslností, jako výplň za chybějící kapelu na festivalu. Chvilku ve dvou, potom ve třech jako pořádná kapela s bubny, pak s dalšími hosty na saxofon, kytaru, housle. Tak to šlo deset let.Už pět let chceme hrát spíš písničky než naší tradiční psychedelickou nátierku. Už jsme to párkrát zkusili. Budeme to zkoušet zase. Ty písničky co děláme o volných chvílích ve studiu, které si někde sami ve stodole postavíme. Hrajeme na divné staré nástroje a posloucháme Bratry Ormovy.

B4 is a group playing improvised music. It has been found in 1998 as an weird science-fiction music duo. Through the years it transformed to actual team.Also music turned more to the psychedelic - noise - minimalistic - free - acid - we dont know...

It is a combination of vintage electronics / analog synths, organs,tape echoes and other weird pieces of equipment / and acoustic instruments / violin, viola, flutes,bagpipe,several percussions /.We also work with sound objects, ready made devices and circuiut bending.Usually there is no singing throughout the live performance and it is played all the way from the beginning with no pauses.Usually we dont record it.

We work also for the theatres, mainly for dance and physical theatre scene.We are part of HANDA GOTE research and development , theatre group. We have small home recording studio, where we record things for theatre and short videos, as well as some sort of songs,developed thru actual improvising. Studio work is very different from the live performance, it is more like another chapter in the creativity of the B4 project. B4 2008 is sort of power-trio playing mixture of krautrock, noise and psychdelic music.
