BIOGRAFIA
Federico nasce a Partinico (Palermo) l’1 Giugno 1982. Fin da piccolo manifesta uno spiccato ed innato senso per la musica e per il canto. Nonostante la disabilità motoria che lo accompagna dalla nascita, porta avanti e sviluppa questo suo grande talento, inseguendo e perseguendo i suoi obiettivi, grazie sia alla sua caparbietà e forza di volontà, sia all’aiuto e al sostegno della sua grande famiglia. A Siena frequenta l’Accademia di Musica Diapason, corso di canto moderno ed improvvisazione jazzista con l'insegnante Clara Cosci e partecipa ad alcuni concerti organizzati dalla stessa Accademia e ad alcune serate di intrattenimento musicale nel Chianti. E’ nel 2005 che Federico viene ammesso all’Accademia di Canto Vocal Classes di Luca Jurman a Milano praticando studio di tecniche vocali e respirazione (RPA). Dal punto di vista tecnico vocale, Federico è un bari tenore, anche se la sua impronta vocale nasce da una perfetta fusione degli studi di lirica, improvvisazione jazzista e soul. Ora vive nella splendida città di Bergamo. Numerose le sue esperienze canore:
• 3° classificato al Festival di Saint Vincent 06/07-Premio delle Radio E 21 Network. • Stage Audizione del 50° Festival di Castrocaro Terme 2007, "corso di storia della musica ed improvvisazione" tenuto dal M° Prof Elio Polizzi. • Semifinalista di "Una Voce per Sanremo 2007”. • Finalista "Marcafestival 2007" di Treviso. • Secondo Classificato a Celebrity The Talent Show 2007 condotto da Fabio Canino su SkyVivo. • Vincitore di "Io Canto 2007" condotto da Valerio Merola, Perla Pendenza e Sheila Capriolo,trasmessa da Raidue. I 16 giurati tra cui Tullio De Piscopo, Povia, Francesca Alotta, Andrea Mingardi, Lighea, Dario Tiengo, con voto palese gli attribuiscono il punteggio massimo. Vince (ed è in fase di predisposizione) contratto di promozione artistica e ufficio stampa in collaborazione col settimanale Vero e un brano inedito scritto da Andrea Mingardi.
• Secondo classificato al concorso "Vivere la Musica 2007" di Stresa, aggiudicandosi una borsa di studio.
• Terzo classificato alla finale di "The Voice 2007" con produzione di una compilation da AntibeMusic.
• Vincitore del CantaTicino 2008 di Lugano organizzato dal Centro Studi Musicali della Svizzera Italiana.
• 3° classificato Premio Castelletto 2008 - Città di Mirano.
• 3° classificato Una Voce dal Livenza 2008 - Premio Città di Sacile.
• Finalista di Festival Show 2008, partecipa al tour estivo a SottoMarina (VE), Abano Terme (PD) e Marostica (VI) col brano inedito "QUEL CHE SEI" (musica: Daniele Tartaglia - Testo: Federico Martello e Tania Compagnin), contenuto nella compilation Festival Show 2008, edita da Azzurra Music.
• Semifinalista del Festival di Castrocaro 2008.
• Vincitore "Festa degli Sconosciuti 2008" - sezione Cantautori - organizzata da Teddy Reno a Teatro Accademia di Conegliano (Treviso).
• Terzo classificato al Premio Donida 2009 presso Teatro Derby di Milano (9 Maggio 2009.
• Premio Speciale di Gianluca Pecchini e della Direzione Artistica del 52^ Festival di Castrocaro Terme, trasmesso da Rai Uno, per la miglior interpretazione e tecnica (10 Luglio 2009).
• Terzo classificato al Solarolo Song Festival 2009 sezione inediti(06 Settembre 2009).
Partecipa ad alcune serate come ospite in locali di Milano, Bergamo e Brescia.

Federico Martello ha un repertorio molto vasto che nasce proprio da questa sua grande passione per la musica ed il canto, che lo portano a provare sempre nuove canzoni e generi. Questo fa sì che possa spaziare su tutti i generi di musica, dal pop al rock melodico, e su tutti i cantanti, maschili e femminili, italiani e stranieri, da Baroni a Bocelli, da Dion a Sinatra, da Mina a Battisti, da Villa a Groban, da Leali a Fabian, da Ranieri ad Albano, da Zero a Bublè, etc, etc etc

BIOGRAPHY
Federico was born in Partinico (Palermo) - Italy – 1st June 1982.
Since he was a child he showed a marked and natural sense for music and singing.
Despite his motor disability since he was born, he continues with this passion for music and develops his talent, chasing and pursuing its goals, thanks in part to his tenacity and strength of will, both to aid and support of his family.
After finishing his studies, Federico began working in Palermo, then he moved to Siena where he attended the University, worked and at the same time attended the Academy of Music Diapason, studying singing and modern jazz improvisation with the teacher Clara Cosci.
He took part as well in some concerts organized by the Academy and some musical entertainment in Chianti.
In 2005 Federico was admitted at Vocal Classes of Luca Jurman in Milan, practicing vocal and breathing techniques (RPA).
Federico voice is described as a barytenor. His voiceprint is a perfect fusion of the studies of opera, soul and jazz improvisation.
Federico won many italian and international singing competitions such as:
• Saint Vincent Festival, third place.
• Castrocaro Festival in 2007, semifinal.
• Io Canto Festival in Reggio Calabria, first place, winnig a new song written by the italian singer Andrea Mingardi.
• Vivere la Musica in Stresa, second place.
• The Voice in Rome - third place, winning the production of a cd compilation.
• Canta Ticino (Switzerland), first place.
• Castelletto Mirano Prize (near Venice), third place.
• Sacile City Prize, third place.
• During the summer 2008 Federico took part in the tour of Festival Show with his song "Quel che sei" (“What you are”) performing for ten thousands people in Abano Terme, Sottomarina and Marostica. Azzurra Music produced a cd compilation with his song.
• During the 2008 Edition of Castrocaro Terme Festival he classified among the twenty best singers.
• He took part in the TV Show "Celebrity - The Talent Show" in December 2007, proving his great talent.
• He also won "La Festa degli Sconosciuti" Prize organized by Teddy Reno in the autumn 2008.
• In 2009 he took part in Donida Singing Award 2009 at the Derby Theather and won the third prize with the new song "Raccontami di te" (“Tell me about yourself”).
• At Castrocaro Festival 2009 he won the Special Prize of the Art Direction for the best interpretation and vocal technique. Broadcast live on Rai Uno, defferd on Rai International.
• Third place at Solarolo Song Festival -new songs(September,6 2009).
Federico Martello has a vast repertoire that is based on his great passion for music and singing, which led him to try out new songs and genres. This means that he can sweep over all genres of music, from pop to melodic rock, and all the singers, male and female, Italians and Foreigners, from Baroni to Bocelli, from Dion to Sinatra, from Battisti to Mina, from Villa to Groban, from Leali to Fabian, from Ranieri to Albano, from Zero to Bublè, etc, etc etc Singing is his joy, his Life.
