What do you say about a band like The Fedoras? It seems there isn't really much to say, other than they were four nice boys from Saint John who played rock and roll music. They began their musical journey on new years eve of 2004, and what an adventure they had. Playing for all sorts of crowds young and old, big and small, cats and dogs. They've seen it all. Things were going quite well for the boys. People seemed to like them, and they sure did like people! They released a dandy little EP, which can be heard up above, and even shared the stage with some real live celebrities.
Unfortunately, like most good things, their adventure had to come to an end. All sorts of problems started jumping up in their way. They put up a good fight for a while, but eventually after one more heroic performance filled with loud noises, a frightening mob on stage and a fair bit of twisting and shouting they decided they had enough. They were tired of the late nights, broken strings and sweaty palms. Can you blame them? Some do, but hopefully you can take comfort in knowing that separately those brave young men have moved on to bigger and better things, well, they've at least thought about it I'm sure.
So if you're here, on this web page dedicated to The Fedoras, to praise them and hold on to something you never wanted to let go then good for you! Good for you for not forgetting, good for you for believing in something, and most importantly, good for you for not giving up! Unlike these four young quitters, you've still got some fight in you, and I think we can all appreciate that.
