The Feeding Joey Story
Feeding Joey is a group of fun loving, easy going guys obsessed with
with the great night club anthems from current hits to the classics of the 70's, 80's, 90's. They keep pretty true to the music
but kick it up occasionally with their own flair and style. Every show is a unique experience
you won't want to miss.
Scott carries the roles of lead
Vocals and Bass Guitar. He brings years of music business experience
with him to the stage. He's been caught sitting in with many great legends
such as the Commodores and George Clinton. Scott's been blessed with
great pipes that allow him to sing everything from punk to pop all night
long.
Jerry
holds down the back beat on drums as well as singing some lead and backing
vocals. Well over 25 years playing with Rock, Jazz, Funk, Disco and
yes even the United States Marine Corps band makes Jerry one of the
most versatile drummers on the circuit. His tight "in the pocket"
style and steady meter are the glue that holds the band together. He
also makes us march in formation and spit on our shoes but thats a story
for another time.
Dave's
also been playing for over 25 years. In addition to guitar Dave also
sings a bit and has been known to play a little keyboards
too. Dave also tackles the roll of Sound Engineer, Booking Agent and
Party Coordinator for the bands live performances. Dave's favorite quote this week: "Goonie Goo Go Gus, Your wifes a Bigfoot ". We have to warn you. Keep your hands and feet clear of him when he's
"Feeding Joey". We wouldn't want you to lose a limb.
Johnny Keys: Former music store owner, he currently teaches music and plays with black lights. Yes, Black Lights as in "far out man look at the the pretty colors" OK well maybe more in a forensic way that a far out way but hey it sounded good right? Weighting in at just over 17 pounds and standing a whopping 4 feet, the mans smile is bigger that he is. He might be small but you can't miss him because he tears up the stage like a Tazmainian Devil. Whaaa Pfsssst.
If you've been to a club and you weren't having fun then the answer to your
problem is simple. You weren't at a Feeding Joey show. Drop everything
and get to one as fast as you can! Feeding Joey has a "knack"for picking
music everyone enjoys. From current hits to classic rock there's always
something on the set list to keep everyone of all ages dancing, partying
and having a great time!
