*Soft Circle* est le projet solo d'Hisham Bharoocha (batterie-guitare-voix-electronique), artiste new yorkais qui fut pour un temps le troisième membre de *Lightning Bolt* et le batteur de *Black Dice*. La musique de *Soft Circle* est axée sur des rythmiques répétitives, des motifs mélodiques lumineux et un chant incantatoire qui évoque parfois une version new age d'*Animal Collective*.
