About me:
WHAT IS FEED THE BULL?

FeedTheBull (FTB) is a user driven, social content website.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Well, everything on FeedTheBull is submitted by the FTB community, (you). After you submit content, other Bull users read your submission and “Feed-The-Bull” what they like best. If your story receives enough feeds, it is promoted to the front page for the millions of Bull visitors to see.

WHAT CAN YOU DO AS A BULL USER?

Every Bull user can feed (help promote), starve (help remove spam), and comment on stories…you can even feed and starve comments you like or dislike.

WHY IS THIS RELEVANT?

Everyday, we, the market, are “fed” news articles that are written and censored by the editors. This news is then disseminated to their particular website with no third party peer review. Every major newspaper and magazine has their own take on the same information, so if you read an article from one site, it may be different from another site.

FeedTheBull allows the community to centralize all relevant information, comment on the article, and vote for what they feel has the most useful and factual information. FeedTheBull puts the community in charge, and makes the community the editor. You decide what makes the feed or doesn’t. The market doesn’t move on what the journalists write, it moves on what the market reads.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Simple, just follow the link (http://www.feedthebull.com/user/register). Create a user name and a password and you are in.

NEW STORIES

If you want to check out the New Stories on FeedTheBull, click on my Widget Sidebar below. This is the news that needs your vote to make it to the front page. You can also contribute by registering for free.

Stealing Everyone's Cash
Squelching Entrepreneurial Companies
Serfdom for the Entire Country

Those are new 2009 definitions for the SEC, which you probably know stands for the Securities & Exchange Commission.

Team Obama capped executive pay last week at $500,000 per year for all of the giant financial firms who were privileged enough (only by the sheer magnitude of their failures) to qualify for government bailouts under the TARP. Guess who has been paid MANY TIMES that while heading FINRA since inception, and long before that in other key positions, while failing miserably all the while at effectively regulating the financial industry? Mary Schapiro! In the months prior to Obama's election, I actually blogged about her lame suggestion at an industry conference that a "task force" be formed to look at the industry and come up with solutions. That task force supposedly exists already. It is called FINRA! Obama has hired her to head the SEC, which is as outrageous as some of his other cabinet nominations.

In February 2005 the Nasdaq exchange evolved from being non-profit to being a publicly traded company - with an obligation to make as much profit as possible for its shareholders! By February 2006 the NYSE had done the same. The NASD and NYSE directors publicly abandoned all of their regulatory duties and decided they would rather grab up all of the cash they could take, and just continue taking, but not regulating. FINRA was created, not before this questionable maneuvering was permitted.

Consider what the public was told as the consolidation of the enforcement arms of the New York Stock Exchange and NASD into "FINRA" was announced in November 2006 and approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission in July 2007.
The NASD said it expected the regulatory consolidation would "increase efficient, effective, and consistent regulation of securities firms, provide cost savings to securities firms of all sizes, and s

I always like reading The Resoultions of Johnathan Edwards to try and start the year off right. Here is one of my favorites...

17. Resolved, that I will live so, as I shall wish I had done when I come to die.

I hope you enjoy the Resolutions as much as I do.
