The music you'll experience when onur özer is behind the decks is no music to stand still to, hands in pockets, sophisticatedly bobbing your head to the beat. this is music that will take you by the hand, lead you to the dance floor and entice your body to follow where your head instinctively begun. this is music with a fresh energy that will just keep lifting your arms and your mood even higher, as the night wears on. music fueling an ever-growing exhilaration that moves your feet in ways you never quite knew possible. music that leaves you with more energy than you came with.
onur began his musical career in the late 90's, when minimal house and tech-house were making a resurgence in Istanbul. In a city, oppressed by both a stifling heat and a musical style equally as stagnant, onur helped battle to change the old rules and break old habits, breathing fresh life into a dispirited club scene. armed with his vinyl case, still dressed in his shabby student clothes, he entered the clubs to share his biggest passion, dancing without reason. word quickly caught on and the clubs soon filled up for onur's increasingly renowned sets.
onur continued to fight the cause and helped found a number of new, vanguard venues, venues, recognized for constantly bringing the new sounds, styles and names to Turkey's capital. whilst fulfilling his passion he worked every day to keep that hot air circulating with fresh, innovative ideas.
in 2002 he began to export this warm istanbul sound to different cities in germany. since then he has kept the crowds dancing in such prestigious venues as robert johnson, harry klein, studio 672 and kerosin.
2004 witnessed a turning point in his career and he became the resident dj of the highly-rated party series, "sweet sense". as the real owner of the house he welcomed many a distinguished international act.
In 2005 he began to take his already well-honed musical talents into the studio, releasing his debut ep, "freakdisco" on freude-am-tanzen recordings in august and another, "envy ep" on vakant the following month. germany's groove magazine rated him one of their up-and-comers of the year.
it is all just beginning for onur özer. 2006 will see his next ep release on vakant, "twilight", out mid march, which promises to claim yet more dance floor victims. the first of many, many, more in the journey of this young turkish star. watch this space.
Guido Schneider
Guido Schneider has been producing electronic music since the early 90’s. Strongly influenced by "EBM“ he started his first project with a friend in 1991 with releases on SPV.
In 1995 he founded his own Label "Neue Welten“ based in Celle, Germany. In 1996 he moved to Berlin where he began to fully focus on music. His productions and co-productions (e.g. as "Schneider & Radecki“ with Sammy Dee) always sounded sort of minimal, but were also exceptionally functional as he dared to stick his head out of his soundlab at an early stage. This together with the experiences from various live performances helped to perfect his tracks.
Changes marked the beginning of the new millennium: Guido closed down his label "Neue Welten” and met vocalist Florian Schirmacher. After the first joint studio sessions it became obvious that Guido‘s production and Florian‘s vocal skills would complement each other perfectly and together they founded the project Glowing Glisses, under whose pseudonym they released 3 singles and the album "Silver Surfer“ on Poker Flat. Inspired by the addition of Florian‘s vocals as an instrument to his music, Guido felt that he was almost able to realize his musical ideas for the first time. The fascination that emanates from "Silver Surfer“ is based on the contrast between Florian‘s warm harmonic vocals and Guido‘s bleepy, minimal and subtle productions.
In 2002 Guido and Glowing Glisses joined Steve Bug, Märtini Brös and Martin Landsky on the Poker Flat World Tour. Back in Germany, highly inspired, Guido began focusing on his solo project "Guido Schneider“. His first Poker Flat single "Triple Bolted“ (pfr35) and the track "Moved“ showed Guido’s huge potential.
Two 12“s followed in 2004: "Unterwegs mit Guido Schneider“ (pfr47, including a fantastic remake of "Moved“) and "Oh My Buffer“ (pfr53). These two 12“s finally put Guido on the map of internationally acclaimed producers. Guido was also Steve Bug‘s first choice to remix his unstoppable classic "Loverboy“ for Poker Flat‘s 50th anniversary release. With his remix of B.’s “Minikool” he ended an extremely successful year 2004. In 2005 Guido first contributed the exclusive track ”Las Cuerdas de Las Canarias” to the "Poker Flat Volume Four“ album, alongside artists such as Steve Bug, Donnacha Costello, Argy and Jeff Samuel.
To help the victims of the tragic events in Asia, Guido Schneider & Andre Galluzzi supported the Tsunami charity compilation, “Survivor” was an exclusive track on Tuning Spork’s Tsunami Benefit CD.
In the first half of 2005 he continued his success with more excellent remixes including Dub Kult’s “On & On”, which went on to become one of this Ibiza season’s hottest tracks, the hypnotic vocal and Guido’s trademark baseline ringing in the head of clubbers, not only in Ibiza – re-appearing on many compilations accordingly.
Remixes of 2Dawg’s “It’s A Dawgs Life“ (Mood Music) Daniel Stefanik’s “Move Me“ (Moon Harbour) and Brtschitsch & Galluzzi’s “Regenschauer” (on Taksi, his close friend Andre Galluzzi’s label) followed, maintaining his high quality throughout, once more proving his status as an incredible producer.
After this long period of remix-productions, in September “Earthbrowser”, his first solo EP in a while was released on Jay Haze’s Tuning Spork, rotating in clubs around the world with the extremely funky, pounding and atmospheric tracks. Returning a favour to his friend Toxic, Guido then contributed a remix to Five T.’s “Graale”, to be released on Berlin’s Freizeitglauben label.
Recently, Guido joined forces with his old friend Sammy Dee (Pantytec) again, with whom he had worked years ago as Schneider & Radecki. The result of this reunion was the Clubcharts and Dancefloors ruling Poker Flat 12” “Styleways” (pfr63), which also was licensed to Richie Hawtin’s „Transitions“ album (Mute).
Under the moniker “Motoguzzi”, Guido also remixed Easy Woman, actually a re-remix since it’s based on a track remixed by Musik Krauses’ Robag Wruhme. This one was released on the first compilation of Berlin’s legendary Berghain Club (Ex-Ostgut), mixed and compiled by his friend Andre Galuzzi. 2006 will also see his first remix on Richie Hawtin’s Minus label, remixing Plastikman himself on the “Panikattack” 12”.
As a DJ and producer of international demand, Guido Schneider currently tours top clubs around the world.
The new album „Focus On: Guido Schneider“ features the next milestone in Guido’s career. It includes some of his best released tracks and mixes as well as his brand new songs and gives an exciting overview of his capabilities.
Federico Molinari
Federico Molinari from Buenos Aires, Argentina is an exponent of fine and qualitative house music in all their imaginable facets. Living in Frankfurt in the meantime, he is located at the spot of origin for good sounds close to stores like Freebase Record, which is one of the most popular record shops in Germany.
By Federico’s keen sense of good sounds it is therefore as sure as fate that one night with Federico Molinari means a good flow with fine records. Thus he became resident at Time Warp, one of Europe’s biggest indoor raves, and at Monza Club Ibiza. Furthermore, he regularly spins at Robert Johnson, one of Germany’s best-known electronic dance clubs, and he is the co-organizer of the Rajo Events that are very popular in Mannheim. Molinari plays with the big ones of the scene like Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Steve Bug, etc.
He runs his own label Oslo Rec. with excellent sound material of himself and other talented artists. In the near future you can expect some well-known acts since Federico is a rare type that comes from the circle of some fine and famous exponents of electronic music.
Johnny D
As the son of Eritrean refugees, Johannes Debese a.k.a. Johnny D. became acquainted with a wide array of music styles at an early age – from Tigrinya, the Eritrean music of his heritage, to hip-hop, funk and soul. During the breakbeat-craze in the Rhein-Neckar delta he first came into contact with electronic music at the age of thirteen, soon afterward deciding to take to the turn tables. His first electronic music sets at modest breakbeat events followed, and Johnny D. quickly developed into a versatile artist active in the Mannheim Collective. He met Ray Okpara in 1999 by the good grace of their mutual hip-hop interest. They would both later organize the Rajo-Music house parties together with Nick Curly and spin all at the Loft Club in Ludwigshafen.
Johnny D. was also active in the Rhein-Neckar party scene as one of the co-founders (Ray Okpara, Federico Molinari, Nekes)of the Mannheim Zoo Club, which quickly rose to wild popularitywith its rotating line up of national and international acts, and local DJs.
Johnny D’s style continued to develop under the influence of minimal electronic music, prompting him to try his hand at producing. His musical versatility makes it difficult to define his style, but one can safely locate his music and vinyl selection somewhere between deep-house, minimal, and techno. The outcome of this spectrum of styles is his own style which is arising itself on vinyl and affectionately arranged live acts. His first release Manipulation and Gualia came out on Oslo rec., the label of his 2 old friends Federico Molinari and Nekes, in june 07. So another chapter was opened for him as musican which he will release now on further.......
Mike Shannon
Over the last ten years Mike Shannon has been
at the vanguard his craft using a lurid sense of
personal aesthetic that has made him a luminary
in the Canadian electronic music scene.
Raised in Kitchener Ontario, Mike began mixing
records at fifteen with incisive extrapolations of
acid house and techno before branching off to
other elements of the electronic genre that
manifest as diamond-edged production skills.
Using the vehicles of techno/house, and emotive elements that transcend and subvert the periodic table of
known musical genres, he began to network with other artists and founded Cynosure recordings a label
designed to serve as a platform for like-minded producers and artists adept at eliciting the emotional
response of the listener by virtue of their uncompromising ethic towards a high artistic, yet accessible
standard.
In its 7 years of existence, Cynosure has released singles from Latino/euro-tronic stalwarts like Pier and
Andres Bucci and Sieg uber die Sonne a long side Canadian artists as Adam Marshall, Mossa and
Deadbeat. Plus a few singles and of his own under the John Shananigans guise and collaborating with
J.Hunsberger as the Sunaj Assassins. By 2000, with Cynosure quickly gaining a reputation for cutting the
throat of the mundane sound that has been prevalent in the auditory landscapes both at home and
overseas, Shannon embarked on his first European tour with Jeff Milligan.
The pair's highly individualized mixing and sonic presentation left a favorable impression on European
audiences and by 2001, Shannon caught the attention of the Force Inc. Music Works imprint, which signed
his full-length debut, "Slight of hand”.
That year Mike and Jeff would formally partner on the operation of Jeff’s imprint Revolver Canada. Mike
and Jeff both relocated in Montreal to begin working closer with the core of the prolific Cynosure and
Revolver artist roster.
In 2003 he relocated to Santiago, Chile for a six months tour/production adventure. He began to work on a
down-tempo project that later blossomed into an album called “possible conclusions to stories that never
end” in 2005 was signed to Berlin’s infamous Scape records. Fusing minimal techno’s finely honed finely
honed rhythmic instincts with classic downbeat’s braoder tonal palette.
After 6 months of touring South America, and working with other music pioneers as well as firing off a volley
of new releases Mike then returned to Montreal to continue studio work on other forthcoming emanations
that would appear on Logistic, Wagon Repair and Dumb-unit.
Currently located between Valencia, Spain and Berlin Germany mike continues
seeking only to undermine the mediocre mindset that afflicts music, life and spirit.
Born and raised in Argentina’s second largest city, Cordoba, Ernesto Ferreyra started djing at the age of 15. After playing several
clubs and parties, his young booth career became a full time professional one when he decided to move to Mexico in 2000,
taking up club residencies as Rioma in Mexico D.F. and playing regularly gigs in different cities and beach spots all around.
Guided by a restless nomadic spirit, after being part of MUTEK.MX festival production team in 2002, he decided to move to
Montreal and release his eager search of fulfillment through music production. His Latin origin soon rooted and merged with the
innovative influence of his fellow Canadian artists. Folk rhythms, guitar and harp samples plus pre-colonial instruments got all
mixed up with click tech-house vibes and soon converged into a sort of experimental electronic dance music.
One half of Chic Miniature, with Guillaume Coutu-Dumont in October 2005 they released the ‘Conexio..n Califa’ EP through
Frankfurt’s Raum Musik label. At the end of the year 2005 he joined the MUTEK_PANAM Tour that saw him playing live sets in
Chile and Argentina alongside Akufen, Crackhaus and Deadbeat. His First solo release came out under the label MUTEK_Rec
in November 2006. After the success of last year’s tour, he played again for the MUTEK Tour Solo and with his duo proyect Chic
Miniature in Brazil and Argentina alongside Thomas Brinkmann, Cabanne and Damia..n Schwartz.
2007 so far has been a more than productive year for Ernesto having released an EP on Cynosure Records, he toured in a few
months many times in Europe and Asia, playing at clubs such a Fabric (London), Yellow (Tokyo), Watergate (Berlin), Privilege
(Ibiza), just to name a few.
Nowadays Ernesto spreads his time playing both as dj and live act and working in his solo productions as well as the follow up to
his shared project.
Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts
Ever an energetic actor in the electronic music scene, Montreal based artist Guillaume Coutu Dumont maintains numerous collaborative projects, performing regularly in his hometown and around the world. Driven by his passion for hybrid forms of musical expression, Guillaume continues on his quest for the ultimate ham bone funk recipe with his solo project: Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts a special blend of funk, house, techno, gospel, swing, barbershop quartet and afro-beat. His first album FACE À L'EST will be released on october 22nd on Musique risqué. So far, his solo outputs are available on Mutek_rec, Musique Risquée, Hartchef Discos, Floppy Funk, OSLO and soon on French labels Circus company and Karat.
Guillaume’s initial musical forays were as a percussionist in a funk band, after which he studied latin and classical percussions in college before discovering electroacoustic composition, which he pursued further at university. It was during this period that he joined [iks], a contemporary jazz formation with whom he recorded two albums and toured for several months in Senegal. Upon his return to Montreal, Guillaume decided to focus his efforts on composition.
Influenced as much by concrete music as by techno, which he discovered one night in the midst of a lightning storm, Guillaume founded Egg (Mutek_rec, Karat, Floppy Funk), Luci (Mutek_rec, Morris Audio), Chic Miniature (Raummusik, Musique Risquée), Flabbergast (Mutek_rec), as well as the artistic collective Racam. He has toured with one or another of these projects in Latin America, Europe and Asia.
Since january 2007, Guillaume reached European soil. He has been splitting his time between two new home base :Paris and Berlin. Traveling all around for a few month now, he is always looking to get the dance floors grinning with guilty pleasure. SHAKE THAT ASS!

Cassy
Catherine Britton aka Cassy, left England for Austria with her Caribbean father and Austrian mother in 1975. She spent her childhood in Vienna and Lower Austria, starting to sing and study music at an early age.
After a few attempts at the University, she finally decided to study drama and acting. She finished her three-year training at the Drama Centre London and returned to her hometown of Vienna, where she started to work in the theater. After a while she gave up acting, realizing she couldn’t stand the profession.
Her first professional step into the electronic musicworld was as a vocalist for Elin aka Autorepeat "Music Takes Me Higher" on Sabotage Records. Electric Indigo was able to convince Cassy to not only involve herself as a singer, but to also learn how to mix records.
After her first DJ-gigs in Vienna, Munich and further productions, she met Dave The Hustler in Geneva where they started working on a project for Mental Groove- Cassy & Dave The Hustler. Geneva was also where she met Luciano and co-produced "La Ondita“, one of the album tracks on Lucien-N-Luciano’s "Blind Behaviour" on Peacefrog and "Alpine Rocket" together with Mathew Jonson for Perlon.
With her move to Berlin in March 2003, inspired by the clubscene and the numerous number of artists living there and the abundance of the music she fell in love with, she started becoming increasingly active in Berlin’s clubscene and shortly after, became involved in projects with artists such as Steve Bug and Ricardo Villalobos. She also started her soloproject, producing and singing.
Ever since, she has founded her own label « Cassy » where she will be concentrating on releasing her own music, and she has recently finished her first mix compilation for Berlin’s Panoramabar, her club residency.
Miss Fitz
Maayan Nidam aka Miss-Fitz has been spinning and producing music since 1999.
Her releases on Raum Musik, Freak n' Chic FR, Circus Company, on Kalimari as Uli Kunkel (together with Shaun Reeves & Lee Curtiss) and other labels, had been remixed by Ricardo Villalobos, Jeff Samuel, Ryan Crosson, Mossa, Pheek, Spasm & more.
Although based in Berlin, Fitz keeps on the move, spinning a mixture of underground House and Techno around the globe in venues such as Colors Studio Tokyo, Robert Johnson Frankfurt, Club Transmediale Berlin, Wolf+Lamb NY, Decadance Belgium, Mono-club Amsterdam , Pacotek Jerusalem, Hive & Piping Switzerland and many more, making frequent appearances around Berlin on her 'space mokeys unite!' nights at Watergate & Arena Club, as well as in changing venues in London.
On the rest of her time, Fitz reviews music for Vice magazine (Germany) and posts for Underground-Amputations.
Kreon & Lemos
Mark Spanoudakis aka Kreon and George Laimos aka Lemos were both born in Athens in the same year of 1984.
Kreon found himself in front of a huge collection of records that his father owned and he started touching vinyl from a young age...Jazz, classic rock, pop, soul, disco even country were some of his influences that he collected before he started picking music for some of his first home parties at the age of 15. That’s what started getting him into buying some new,dancy and fresh stuff... In the early years it was deep house, american mostly, but the main 'gateway' to music was the inernet since he was involved with technology really young.
With the age of 18 when he began his studies as an electrical engineer far away from Athens he chose to get familiar to the whole production world which and soon he found himself releasing his unique mix of house, minimal techno and electro on an athenian label called Rhythmetic.
While Kreon was digging the crates of his father Lemos learned to play the piano at the age of 6 for almost 6 years followed by 4 years of guitar and finally some clarinet lessons. He then bought his first PC at the age of 19 and started experimenting with sounds and grooves. His sound soon settled somewhere between house and techno with lots of jazz and classical elements. His first release saw daylight on Popnebo's label Balkon Recording' in 2006.
In the year 2007 Kreon and Lemos found eachother and became Kreon&Lemos. They joined their influences and produced a different style than their solo productions. Resopal was the label that believed in them and released their first ep as Kreon&Lemos which had unexpected impact to the whole dance scene. After that Roza ep on Be Chosen was the one that showed that these 2 guys had a lot of stuff in their artistic mind. And Lookooshere ep on Resopal Red confirmed it, as it was a rather difficult and jazzy try while the sales were becoming an issue at the end of 2007. But still the feedbacks became even better and the record was loved and played out by Josh Wink, Laurent Garnier, Luciano, The Wighnomy Brothers, Hans Nieswandt, Kiki, Onur Özer and Move D to name but a few.
Lemos did another approach with his friend Chevy that got signed to Be Chosen. It was called Woman’s Key, a key most of us would like to own.
At the same time Mark's try to express himself with more percussive elements and natural sounds released on a Frankfurt based label called Below. Shake n make entered the charts of many dj's including the top 50 of Groove magazine hitting 11.
During this time Kreon& Lemos have collaborated with fellow musicians such as Cookie, Feeboy & Liberto. They have have released on labels such as Resopal Red, Below, Balkon, Be Chosen and Unlove. Their Tracks got licensed to Get Physical’s „Body Language – Six“ mixed by Junior Boys and The Wighnomy Brothers latest mix cd „Metawuffmischfelge“ and their tunes got remixed by artists such as Anthony Collins, Art Bleek and The Wighnomy Brothers again...
Late 2008 will bring their debut album on Resopal Red as well as a live concept of a full band for tours, festivals and special occasions.
Who knows what 2009 will bring - but in the eyes of many respected musicians such as Crosstown Rebels, Audio Werner, Ricardo Villalobos, Anja Schneider, Shinedoe, Karotte, Layo, Raresh or Robag Wruhme these are just the early hours of a rising star!

Chronic Flakes (Alex Picone & Kay Sand)
ALEX PICONE: Alex was born and grown in Padova, in the North-East of Italy. He started DJing at the age of 15 and after two years he became resident DJ of "la Scala", the infamous underground club in the region. A couple of season later Alex started to organize his own house parties.
Later he teamed up with professional promoters and he became resident DJ of "Flow" and "Muretto" which are the most successful house parties in this area. Due to the success of his parties Alex mingled with many international artists such as Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola and many others.
In 2004 he started with his partner Francesco Sperotto a.k.a. Kay Sand the project called Chronic Flakes - very quickly the young duo gained reputation among many senior producers such as Alex Neri, who released their works on Bustin loose and Tenax Recordings.
Beside his project Chronic Flakes, Alex started a collaboration with Lucretio - one of the tracks of the two artists, called "Berlin Dub", has been released on Mixworks' first record "Persistence E.P." . Now, in 2008, its time to focus on Alex Picone as solo astist: „Furby Floppy", Alex first EP under his own name, is going to be released on Luciano's imprint Cadenza Records as Cadenza 27.
2009 will be a very busy year for Alex ,he became part of the Cadenza family,and he just moved to Berlin and there will be many glitterous partnership s that will put him under the electronic movements attention.
In the last six months he played in Cocoon in Frankfurt,Tenax in Florence,Weekend in Berlin,Cocorico' in Riccione ,Sylo in Bruxelles,and Mad in Lausanne just to name a few of the clubs were he has spinned.
This is no-holds-barred dance music with a manic glint in its eye and wildpitch elements threaded through its flesh: house music for house people who won't let anything stand in their way of the hypnotic groove. You can describe Alex' sound as elegant, fresh, deep and beyond any convention at the same time.
KAY SAND: Best known as half of the duo Chronic Flakes, Kay Sand's rise is the result of a multi-form and constant progression of which Chronic Flakes it's just one of the uncountable pieces of the puzzle. Chronic Flakes has just been the turning point after ten years spent playing as drummer and singer first and later as producer. These are the reasons because ecletism soon became the trademark word of this rising artist.
After 12 years characterized by deep experiences in punk..grunge ambients (Spyder Gonzales band), ages in which he played as drummers and then as singer with the band Grammophono (an instrumental band which focused his sound on house and deep-house sonorities), Kay met Alessandro Picone, best known as Alex Tribal.
And the first seed of Chronic Flakes project found his place under the ground...
"When i met Alex, i started wondering myself about what i really wanted from me, as artist, i mean. I started wondering myself how interact with him and how to relate myself to the project in order to make it work in the better way.
I reconsidered all my musical background, comparing and integrating it with differents beats: techno, house, minimal and deep. It was really exciting opening my mind to new experiences and purposes, starting interacting with instruments and softwares. This thing, for a person like me, who has always loved to swim into music, playing with instruments, represented a brand new, incredible and rivitalizing experience!." In few words, it was a decisive meeting.
This excursion into new horizons and new chances, gave to the duo the possibility to gain a lot of respect from the whole Italian underground scene. Firstly came the pop band “Planet Funk” and then the dj and sound engineer of the band, Alex Neri. Neither Ocean Trax's boss Paolo Martini didn't miss the opportunity to get in touch with the duo, firstly giving them the chance to release on his well respected label and then committing them a few remixes.
After several performances in clubs alongside Alex, shows where Kay used to add to Alex’s sets that eclectic touch proper of him, playing synth or using a mic, now Kay is focusing all his efforts on his own live perfomance, focused mainly around the use of synths, electronic drummachine and softwares like Ableton.

Perché mai un progetto che ha alla base la musica e il suono dovrebbe avere un nome come “silencio”? Il silenzio può essere inteso in molte maniere, il silenzio delle persone, come il silenzio delle emozioni piuttosto che il silenzio degli stati d’animo. In questo caso, il silenzio è inteso come il voler evitare che altre cose al di fuori della buona musica e dell’arte interferiscano con esse con il loro inutile vociare, distraendo l’avventore con inutili brusii oltremodo fastidiosi e del tutto inopportuni.
Il progetto si propone si portare in Veneto, nella splendida cornice offerta dallo Zion club di Conegliano, le atmosfere di sperimentazione musicale e visiva tipiche dei club berlinesi; un luogo non luogo inteso come punto di condivisione di esperienze nel quale, oltre all’ascoltare una ricercata selezione sonora del tutto estranea alla corrente odierna, si potranno svolgere eventi di arte contemporanea quali mostre, visual arts e allestimenti per trasformare l’essenza del locale lasciando scoprire ai clienti una sfaccettatura diversa del nostro life style ad ogni appuntamento.
Bè ma adesso, bando alle ciance... silencio, ahora es el arte que habla...
