"Fellowship of the Dice," an award-winning comedy/mock-documentary about the eccentrics who play role playing games, or RPG's (alla "Dungeons & Dragons") is the story of Elizabeth, a former party girl who's had a run-in with the law and lost all of her friends. While out on a break from her job at a hot dog stand, she bumps into Sanford, an avid gamer who invites her to come play "Wizards, Warriors and Wyrms," a fantasy role playing game. With nothing better to do, she accepts his invitation. But little does she know what she's getting herself into...
Role-playing games have been around for almost 30 years and the hobby shows no sign of slowing down. "Fellowship" is an inside look at the enduring nature of table-top roleplaying and the, uh, unique personalities of those who play.
