I like mostly old music from the sixties and seventies. I like all kinds of soul music, funk, ska/reggae and Latin Bugalu as well as quite a bit of rock music too. I still buy vinyl albums and 45's, the occasional 12" and lots of CD's usually various artists stuff on Kent, Gold soul and Motown. I have lots of records by Aretha Franklin, James Brown and a decent collection of Motown 45's and albums. I love the Blue Note Compilations, Latin Jazz and Northern Soul collections too. I occasionally DJ at Blacktrackin' and some of the mod/soul clubs in and around Glasgow. I've guested at Friday Street, Melting Pot, and Afterglow. My involvement with Subcity radio means I've DJ'd at their events in the Arches, The Art School, GU Union, QMU and on The Ferry. For radiomagnetic I've spun records in King Tut's, The Gazelle and The Sub Club. I like going to clubs such as Vegas and The GoGo and I've been a Guest DJ at both. Some time ago I made my first appearance at The Grand Ole Opry as compere for El Rancho Relaxo and had great fun supporting The Parsonage, Skeleton Bob, Wilson Tan and The Gilded Angels. As a sideline I DJ at weddings due to my eclectic taste in music which some people think makes their nuptials a wee bit different. That means I've been behind the decks at The Winter Gardens, House for an Art Lover, Mar Hall, and Loch Lomond Youth Hostel.
