Billy Perez is no longer performing with Felon since he has become ever more busy with The Love Trilogy .
The guys in Felon first decided to get together for a friendly jam in late August of 2003, each of which had come from differing bands and situations out of the New Brunswick scene. Tom had previously jammed in a bunch of bands with drummer Mike Kinsey for the last 17 years since 1990, including Squalor, Tommy Took Acid, Katemoss, and Chris Harford and the Band of Changes. Mike and Tom still find time for a SQUALOR show with Chris Harford and Eric Barnett(Points North , ex-Tommy Took Acid) every now and then as well. Tom is also a member of Horsy(1999 - 2000, 2004 - current, although Horsy is currently on hiatus). Also Tom has been playing with the Stuntcocks since January of 2008. Deem had jammed with Tom for a couple of years in 8 ohm d r i v e r, in the mid 90's, and Mike is currently also jamming with Deem in 8 ohm d r i v e r. Deem is also a founding member of The Stuntcocks. aka "Joey Stuntcock". Billy Perez and Tom had also done some work together back in 2002. Billy is also a member of The Love Trilogy and Meet Me in Montauk. f e l o n brings together a diverse background of influences and experiences from each member's lives and backgrounds.
Felon combines the twin guitar attack with a sound that continues in the tradtions of Heavy Rock without boundaries, combining Rock, Metal, Punk, Alternative, Hard Rock, Stoner Rock, and whatever else may enter into the mix, and a drummer that pushes the envelope.
BTW, the tunes uploaded here are live and very raw from our last gig at The Court Tavern.
