I love to write...I wrote my first story, called "The Magical Party Store" in 1996, when I was 12. I Just finished up a story called "Opening Night" in early 2005, and I just got through writing an untitled short story.
About me: Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping in to my MySpace page :-D. My name is Lauren, glad to meet you! I'm a friendly and independent person, and I like to get out and do things. I also like to chill with my family and have fun with friends. I would like to meet people here on myspace.com . I am also willing to help wherever I'm needed. I am always there to lend a hand whenever someone needs help and/or needs assistance. One of my favorite things to do is go down to the festivals at Hart Plaza and around Detroit during the summertime, the Auto show in January, and the Thanksgiving Parade in November. If you're lucky, you might catch me out there with my camera. If you want to see some of my pictures, go to my Flickr site (Click the words to get there, and save me as a friend if you are on there). I might have some weird dreams or feel in the mood to either talk about my day, rant about someone getting on my nerves or to share a photo blog, so watch the blog, because I might write about one of them one day.Hope you like My Space here. I dedicate this page to my friend, Princeton Taylor (1984-2004).I miss you a lot, Princeton. I met you in 8th grade at Roosevelt, and we were friends since the 9th grade at OPHS. My favorite memory of you is during Senior year of HS, whe we were in Ms. Miller's Drama class, and we buddied up to do skits and all. This page is also dedicated to my mother (1950-2007). I miss you a lot, Mom. I'll always remember you.

Who I'd like to meet: A guy who is is seeking this sista's heart is friendly, caring, kind, non-judgemental, fun to be with, but has a serious side, and has good manners. I also like a young man to have a nice personality. The young man shouldn't lie (can't stand liars), smoke (don't need that secondhand smoke), drink excessively (Don't need to be hanging with an alcoholic) or have a potty mouth (no 4-letter words here). Also, you shouldn't be a two-faced person. If I could meet anyone, living or deceased, I would like to meet my maternal great-grandparents and my paternal grandfather, who all died before I was born, to talk about family stuff. As for famous folks, I'd like to meet the late Norm Cash to talk Tigers .
That twinkling in your eyes, It speak of a thousand things to me. Intensity you can drown me. I would love to stay here forever. But you evokes memories in me.
Leaving your imprint on me. Some consider themself lucky. To experienced your warmth. Cupid's arrow always trying to strikes me. The world seems appareled when the light is not on me. Glory and freshness in your eyes. Just like that morning dew on me. Exotic, and beautiful but please don’t touch me. It’s hard putting the world behind me. I wouldn't expect anything more, Just being the Apple in your eye!
I see that You are beautiful. Not only because of the brownness of your eyes Or the shape of your body. You are beautiful because You want to be. You are beautiful because God made you that way. You are beautiful because you have confidence. You are beautiful because you have determination and wit. You are beautiful because you have goals. You are beautiful because you are always there to lend a helping hand. You are beautiful because in my eyes THERE IS NO ONE MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN YOU.
There is no father without mother No mother without father. There is no me with out them. Let them teach us That the sun shines after the rain That being selfish doesn’t pay Believe that good things come to those who wait Believe that dreams do come true Believe that revenge is never right Believe something good comes from something bad Believe we should live in harmony Believe we have a friend for a reason Believe you will lose if you sit, and wonder Believe experience teaches us a lesson Believe living is the best experience Believe when I die people will grieve But it’s ok because I believe Believe it’s hard watching my mother And father leave Believe when they’re gone all you can do is breath Who do you believe ?
Thanks for adding Mumbai Taxi. We’ll keep you posted on all our trips. Or, you can track us at twitter.com. Yes, times are hard-- Unemployment in Indiana tops ten percent. Young people are struggling to stay in college because graduating is terrifying... Been there before, in the middle of another painful recession in the 80's-- The answer was reggae music-- I brought reggae bands to stages from PA to Iowa, and points in between. Those years were spent in the groove, poor but irie! Now, we need music more than ever before-- Even with hope on the horizon, it's going to be a long haul this time. Mumbai Taxi is trying to ease the pain-- Yes, there will be weekends when a cover at a club, and the price of drinks, will be a bit dear... Our solution: HOUSE CONCERTS!!! We need to play, and you need trips, Taxi trips-- A cosmic convergence of positive iration! Let's declare a new SUMMER OF LOVE-- Of Mumbai Taxi psychedelic Mambo, Tropicalia, Soukous, Soweto Beat & Rockin' Raga Reggae in living rooms, back yards, deep woods, concert halls, gardens, festivals-- Wherever there is a need to tune in, turn on, and take a (Mumbai) Taxi trip! Contact us soon-- The calendar is filling up.
