FEM Inc. formed in Brisbane, Australia in 2005, with one Irish import. Get set to ROCK with this raucous line up. This is an adrenalin fuelled hard rock band compiled of 4 talented dexterous, no nonsense female musicians. If Gene Simmons was a girl, he would be in FEM INC. With the licks of Guns'n'Roses, the sultryness of Stone Temple Pilots, and the showmanship of Van Halen. This is a must see act!!!!!! HUH!!
Laura Nauda: Lead Vocals/ guitar. Laura was singer for the band in 2006 and has returned to front FEM INC after galivanting around and touring the UK and Europe for the last 2 years. She is ready to bite the heads off bats and deliver an iconic performance. She is the love child of Dolly Parton and Ozzy Ozbourne. With Dolly's good looks and her pa's affinity for rock music, it was inevitable that Laura was going to be different. Very different.
CassaNOVA: Lead guitar /Backing vocals. NOVA is the naughtiest guitarist on the planet. Shes a boffin and studies a Bachelor of Audio Technology at the Conservatorium of Music. She has been playing guitar since age 12 and her prowess on guitar is as she shreds out proposterously good solo's. As a nipper she accepted a child labour job peeling apples to raise money to buy her first guitar. Now she is no longer alone as the band have joined her peeling apples to pay for there EP launch. If you want to know why she’s called Nova .… It's probably because she's awesome.
Skully: Bass guitar/ backing vocals. Nicknamed Skully by friends because of her extensive collection of T-shirts with pictures skulls on them. Skully was originally a guitarist and guitar tech for FEM INC 's Nova. When the bass player position became available Skully picked up the bass and leaped onto the stage. She kicks arse at bass. Your gonna love her.
Kat: Drums/ backing vocals. This hard hitting drummer has been affectionately named “THE DESTROYER!” due to the fatal damage of sticks and cymbals. Kat proceeded to learn precussion at a tender age, she started hitting pots and pans with knives for beaters. After destroying a set of her Mums best stainless steel pots and pans, it was decided to get her a drum kit. She now owns and operates OUT LOUD MUSIC STUDIO.
FEM Inc. boasts support shows with Marcia Hines, The Rogue Traders and Diana Anaid. They have also played festivals, SYDNEY GAY & LESBIAN MARDI GRAS FESTIVAL LAUNCH/FAIR DAY 2009, BRISBANE PRIDE FESTIVAL twice and BIG GAY DAY FESTIVAL , Headliner for INSOMNIA FESTIVAL an extreme sports event, and CAXTON ST FESTIVAL.
FEM Inc. is set to record their debut EP. They have been working closely with Producers Santi Rigolizio (London) & Darren Grant.
FEM Inc. have their sight firmly fixed on success.
