I pick up instruments (even if I don't know how to play them), and I make them do what I want them to do. My husband is the drummer and recording engineer for two bands. His favorite project has more of a folk rock sound and they have just released their first album. They have a MySpace page where you can check out the tunes and order the CD. I hope you will.

Come on by The Lantern this Saturday for the 16 Blocks Art Preview featuring the work of Whitney Waller, Kuru, and Perx. Appetizers will be served.

$5 and all of the proceeds benefit the construction of 16 Blocks Art House, a gallery that will display local art which will be situated between The Lantern and She-Sha and will be opening in early 2009.
