It would actually take us longer to get there driving than via the lines, as I'd have to take the blue line, then the Chicago Ave bus back home, then warm up the van, get on the highway and drive up there. With the red line it's a straight shot all the way up.
We'll try and get there ASAP whether you guys are there for another five minutes or two hours. It'd be nice to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Sorry we can't get there sooner. I blame work. :(
I get off at 7pm tomorrow and the red line drops us less than a mile from Mullens. We're thinking of heading up. Worth it? We haven't been since we first got here! Boo.
