About Feral - New song/Back from tour w. Six Feet Under
Short biography
The band Valmer & Hook was formed as a joke in late 2002 by two young lads from the depths of norhtern Sweden. A demo called Black Death was released early the year after.
Durning 2004 their first gig was held, where the band preformed the title-track from Black Death and some unreleased material.
In early 2005 the band was asked to preform another gig, and to make this happen a new member was something that had to be found, which resulted in the guitarist Johell. Later that year the new drummer Damien was found.
The second guitarist Svarte Petter joined the band early in 2006. Now when Valmer & Hook had a full line-up the band decided to turn towards a more serious attitude and started to record their next demo Grim Winternight!, which was released July 3rd, 2006. Shortly after releasing Grim Winternight!Valmer & Hook changed their name to Feral.
In November 23rd 2007 Feral released a demo called Graverobber. Earlier that year Johell decided to leave the band due to army training, and the spot as second guitarist was soon filled by Sebbe.
Sebbe left the band as well shortly after the recording of the song Altar of Necormancy in 2008 that was featured on the Resurrected In Festering Slime-compilation album released by Soulseller Records in early 2009.
In February 2009 Feral had found their new guitarplayer Big Mac who followed the band on their first month-long Europe tour alongside with the legendary Master (US), after this Big Mac joined as a full time member and the band started recording their new demo Welcome to the Graveyard, which was ready right in time for their second Europe tour with Six Feet Under and Jungle Rot. The band has never been stronger, and Welcome to the Graveyard is the greatest effort made by Feral so far.
