Story
Four years ago, Haj and MicheleQJ began working on the Fermented Spirits Project. It started simply with the idea of creating sample based music, using Brazilian and South American rhythms and sounds as foundations, and then adding live instrumentation with their own layman's touch - fusing these foundations with hip-hop and soul. As songs began to form, many running themes became clear and obvious. Hope, love, struggle, inspiration, and life. Basically the human spirit.
Relocations, life events, other projects, and re-relocations resulted in pieces of the project remaining in various stages of completion. FS recently dug up the project and got to work on completing it.
