Daxta was a young teenager worried about that difficult skateboard trick when the English ravers landed on his sunny hometown Tenerife Island back in 1989. The famous Summer of Love was hence the start of it all for him too: new beat, acid house, breakbeat, jungle, techno, trance, house in all variations...It wouldn’t be though until finishing his studies and working in the advertising industry that he would start dj’ing and producing electronic music. It is today from the heart of Europe, that Fernando manages his Sirius Pandi Label, releasing vinyl and digital with some of his works and those from a bunch of cool international newcomers, including collaborations with artists like Xpansul, Seuil, Lee Van Dowski, Dachshund, Mr. Statik or Mathias Mesteno. The label has been receiving constant support from frontline artists like Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin, Damian Lazarus or Loco Dice. Daxta recently joined forces with Marcus Vector & Sierra Sam’s Berlin’s based Toys For Boys Records, publishing a very well received release by the likes of Varoslav, Bloody Mary or Shinedoe.
