Who is Fernando Furnace? They are Paul McGinty (vocals and
guitar) & Erik Loeffert (guitar and vocals). Together they are a Pittsburgh-based duo that takes a rock ’n roll sensibility, adds the emotion of the blues,
and applies that mix to its picture-perfect pop rock songs to
create the band’s signature sound.
Fernando Furnace was formed in early 2005, but two of its
principal members, Paul McGinty and Erik Loeffert, actually met
playing ice hockey at the ages of 14 and 15. Little did they
realize that 13 years later, they’d be collaborating musically.
After spending six years making music in Pittsburgh as part of
the now-defunct Tony Jones Band and as a solo artist, Paul
met up with Erik again. Jam sessions evolved into open mic
nights and into Fernando Furnace.
So who is Fernando Furnace? They’re more than just a local
bar band—Fernando Furnace are what they play. Paul & Erik perform songs about love and loss and moving on—in a way to which you don’t just relate, you also sing along. “I think our music is very accessible. It’s not hard to relate to, and it’s very ‘user friendly,’” says vocalist and songwriter Paul McGinty. “We just write good rock songs.”

So, once again, you may miss the end of a sweet era. If Cait moves out in May, than I may also. You may be visiting me back in Hanover if you wait too long. Penis.
I can't wait...even though it's pre-season I'm super stoked about the hockey game on Saturday! I'm going to try and get some tickets when they go on sale.
