Fernando Nunes, a brazillian bass player, was born in the city of Maceió, capital of the northern state Alagoas and begun your music career at the age 12.In the middle 80..s, moved on to the state of Bahia where he had the opportunity to record and play with big artists at the time, like Luíz Caldas and Margareth Menezes, who introduced him to new kinds of rhythms and influences, and who Fernando made his first concerts around the globe.
In 1993, went to Rio de Janeiro to play in the band of Brazillian MPB and Jazz artist Ivan Lins, witch made a tour in Europe and US.In 1994, got in the band of the rock singer legend Cássia Eller, who he stayed with til her last album released in 2001, the MTV Unplugged.
Nowadays, lives in São Paulo where he continuous to play and record with several artists, part of the band of male singer Zeca Baleiro in his nationals and internationals tours, also part of the instrumental trio Flenks, nomitated for the 2001 Latin Grammy Awards, and the Coffe Breaker..s Band.Fernando Nunes also acts in the music business as a music producer and music diretor of concerts and records.
