I'm Tina Ferraro and I write books for teens.
When I'm not writing, I'm here on MySpace, commenting on blogs, reading, watching movies, standing in line at Starbucks, or trying to talk the cat into sitting in the sunshine.

About me: TOP TEN USES FOR AN UNWORN PROM DRESS is available on Amazon and
Barnes & Noble and at most bookstores. It's gotten great reviews, including praise from Publisher's Weekly and Library School Journal (she says modestly). Here’s a short blurb:
Being dumped two days before prom is hard enough--but being dumped by the hottest guy in school becomes of Nicolette Antonovich's worst experiences ever. Along with that, she has to deal with family issues, a best friend's arrogant older brother, the rumor-mill, and the eternal question: What DO you do with an unworn prom dress?
HOW TO HOOK A HOTTIE is out now, too, can be found at most bookstores or ordered at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It was named a Spring 2008 Book Sense Top Teen Pick! Here is a blurb:
Kate DelVecchio plans to be a millionaire before she's 21. When she agrees to go to a sports banquet with a hotshot baseball player, she stumbles upon a possible cash cow. The rest of the school is amazed that the no-nonsense Kate could hook such a hottie, and one by one approach her for help hooking their own. She doesn't know anything about getting guys, but for $100.00 a pop, she's more than willing to try, including inventing a 6-step-plan on How to Hook a Hottie. And how could that possibly backfire?
THE ABC's OF KISSING BOYS (January 13, 2009) is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Here is the cover and blurb:
Parker has played soccer practically since she could walk. Now she’s a high school junior and a shoo-in for Varsity. I mean, the coach moves everyone up from JV to Varsity. It’s just what happens.
But that’s not what happens.
This year Coach Hartley moved up every JV player but two--and Parker was half of that unfortunate equation.
School starts, and she’s stuck with (horror of horrors) the freshman, and her love of the game is seriously beginning to fail. Worse? The friends her own age are showing signs of cutting her loose, and now the freshman guy across the street is looking like her only companion.
But Parker’s determined to get her life back. She concocts the perfect plan to get on Varsity. The only catch? She has to trick her way into the annual kissing booth, then
pull a stunt crazier than she could ever possibly dream up on her own. Only the kissing booth kiss has to look real. And Parker is less than experienced in playing on that sort of field.
She knows that practice makes perfect, now she just has to find the right kind of coach...
