Silver Shadow D is for the most part a one man operation when it comes to the creation, recording, and arrangement of a good song. He can write music and lyrics for songs in the Rap, R&B, and Hip Hop/DanceHall music genres.
He is virtually self taught, but has been schooled and mentored by some of the most respected and credentialed people in the field of music and entertainment. He is also a Recording Engineer who is capable of making master recordings that rival industry standard quality. He is definitley resourceful.
He has also been revered by most of his peers to be the most energetic, present, professional, and talented individuals they have ever come across.
That itself says enough. Might I add, his stage show hyptmotizes virtually any crowd he has had the opportunity to perform in front of. He's very talented as a music producer, creating tracks that are not only original, but from another planet altogether

Social/Political Influences.....
People who don't understand that regardless of people of color being out of slavery times and The Civil RIghts Movement here in AmeriKKKa, we still have issues. So I try to inform people through my coversations and muzik that we are not just "gripin'". WE'VE BEEN PASSED UP AND PASSED ON too long, so We need to be given what were owed, or WE need to come with the plan to insure ALL people can live in Peace.
Trust me, i'm a coo, universal, loving man. I'm just DONE bein' quiet about the obvious.
Muzic Influences:
NUMEROUS. Everything from Motown and out of that era. R&B ledgends from past to present artists. I Love Mary J, India Irie, JILL SCOTT, Angie Stone, to Keisha Kole. Any Strong woman not afraid to express herself, is inspiring.
The same goes for Hip Hop. Shit, I copped my first Too Short tape in '85. so everything tyght that has come out a few years before that and since then I'm feelin'. I have always looked to the Yay Area for inspiration, for that's where I was born(Frisco). Their beats be bangin tuff. Alot outta LA too. I got my Favorites on the East, and in the South. I'm proud they finally have gotten REAL recognition in the game.
Last but not least.......LOVE, FOOD, SUNNY/RAINY DAYS, and NaturalBeauty.

I've been compared to countless artists. I believe that is because at all points of my music experience, i've been inspired by many. I've listened to ALOT of music!!
