We welcome you to the first battle of the bands at Uncle Fester's (430 E Kirkwood). Any original music project, from a single person performing to a full band is welcome to enter, as well as any genre of original music. The Battle begins on Sept 16th with 6 preliminary rounds having six bands in each prelim (36 bands total). There will be a wild card round the seventh week for the 6 highest ranked bands that did not make it out of their prelim round. Following this will be quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final round with the overall top 6 bands. Each band that makes it to the final round will receive a gift certificate to Russian Recording (http://www.russianrecording.com). Cash prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place-$1,000, 2nd Place-$500, and 3rd place-$250.
We are hoping that this will be a community building event, and it would be great to have you be a part of it.
