When artists perform at festivals, sometimes they play old songs in new ways, sometimes they play new songs with new people.
WE ARE seasoned audio pros who want recorded live performances to sound as good as they can. We want to help musicians present their live shows in the best possible way.
WE RESPECT the risk and the hard work involved in producing great music festivals year after year. We want to support the festivals we care about and the songwriters and touring artists whose livelihoods in roots and acoustic music depend on them.
OUR RECORDINGS are not simple board tapes. Rather, we capture the music in multitrack recordings that are carefully post-produced after the festival. Artists always have the final say in what performances we release. And everyone – festival, artist, and songwriter – is fairly compensated.
OUR DOWNLOADS are available in MP3 and FLAC formats; we also sell CDs of our recordings.
We have released recordings of rare live performances from MerleFest, Newport Folk Festival, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Rhythm and Roots Festival, Cowboys In The Sky, Wintergrass, The Taos Solar Music Festival, All Good Music Festival, A Night Out With Friends, and the 46th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival.
