Widely regarded by savvy music fans everywhere as “the next big thing,” Vegas based rock/pop trio Feverbox releases their second full-length album post a drastic line-up change.
Now a trio with the addition of bassist John Tom, the remaining members of the band, vocalist Alex Rodriquez and percussionist Korre Heggem have spent the summer of 2005 touring the west coast and outlying states.
Fresh off gigs in San Diego, Hollywood, Venice Beach and hometown Vegas, the boys get ready to drop "The Enemy Is Closer Than You Think," an album full of youthful angst, mature hope, and the kind of songwriting muster that is only gained through years of whirlwind living. It’s amazing that it’s been under a year since the inception of the band that has consistently fused jazz, rock, pop, punk, emo, and anything else you can name into a perfectly balanced mix that can only be labeled Feverbox.
Chock full of songs about hope and hopelessness, the newest offering from the Las Vegas trio is in typical Feverbox fashion; music that is distinctly familiar but all together brand new. It’s a niche that has set them apart from the scores of emo bands, the armies of punk cats, and the pop trends that have permeated the music scene today. Catchy, clever, and heartfelt are descriptions this exciting young outfit knows all too well.
hey Feverbox. thanks for being my friend. check out my profile if you enjoy piano-based indie pop like Ben Folds, Ben Kweller or The Fray. i would love to hear your thoughts and opinions related to my music.
WHAT!? Who the hell are these guys!? They rock! They should get signed and tour the nation.. no they should tour the world. Sweden would eat this shit up!
Everytime I see Feverbox play they just get better and better. I am amazed at the talent and drive of these boys. Their sound is so unique and yet catchy. One day everyone will be screaming "no way" as they are driving down the highway jamming out to feverbox on the radio.

True talent.. one man, one mic. , one guitar.... his voice echos through and into your soul. I love good music and hope to be privlaged one day to see your musical creation at work.
