I am a woman of many talents and alot interests me!
Music
Anything, I LOVE it all. I like rap, jazz, big band, classical, both country AND western, basically everything... from hip hop to bebop Yep! Even opera Afterall, I have a music degree........I should like it all! I began my musical career at the age of 5 with piano lessons and later played cello, saxophone and french horn. I then taught music for a total of 11 years, 1 year as a graduate assistant at SWOSU and 10 years of music to approximately 3500 children, general music class and band. I hope I had a postive musical influence on their lives. Hopefully they have an appreciation for music.

My all time favorite is The Wizard of Oz, I like Tom Hanks' movies too. Gosh so many..... Jerry Maguire, Trading Places, hmmm I'll need to think on this!

I LOVE to spy and snoop!
Watch TV? Who wants to watch? It's more fun to experience! I want to do it, not watch. It's more entertaining to be right in the middle of it all and not on the sideline.
If I MUST answer...... Rescue Me, of course! I recenty like House. I have liked American Idol, I correctly predicted Carrie Underwood from her ORIGINAL audtion. I think Melinda Doolittle was ripped off! She has by FAR, more talent than the others from that season. That season was clearly a popularity contest, NOT talent. She could go with any genre, a VERY talented lady and not just because she is also a graduate of Union HS in Tulsa Okla! I would love to see her record an album, jazz perhaps? With Count Basie Big Band???
This year I am going with David Cook of again Tulsa Oklahoma, no relation either!
I'm just not much of a TV watcher. I keep one on just for the noise and something to listen to. My dogs like the Animal Planet! Does THAT count? They rule anyway.
I am a "doer", so I like car fixin' shows on saturday morning, the home improvement shows, and The Antique Road Show, and any dog specials.
Books
My alltime favorite is still Charlotte's Web by EB White. It was as a child and always will be! We wrote a play/musical version of this for my music classes when I taught school. It was so much fun to take my favorite childhood book to the stage.
I enjoy books on architecture, Tulsa history, antiques, lighting, anything from the Art Deco era, dogs. Hmmm that doesn't really answer this question but I don't have just one interest per say!

I am a musical, animal loving, life saving, former teacher turned firefighter! I play the alto saxophone in the Tulsa Community Band. I love antiques and especially vintage lighting! I have rewired, refinished, redesigned (given new life), to hundreds of light fixtures and chandeliers. I love Rachel Ashwell and Shabby Chic, I love French Country, I love Art Deco. I will choose something old and battered over something new and shiny. If it's broken I enjoy the challenge of fixing it. I believe you should never stop learning, you will never know everything. I love a challenge physically as well as intellectually. I prefer to do things myself instead of having them done for me, which has made me pretty independent. I can change my oil, I can replace fuel injectors,the spark plugs, the starter, the alternator...., ballasts in a light fixture....why? because I like the challenge and the feeling of doing it myself! I don't sit still for very long. I am a busy body. But.... I like to be pampered by a man once and a while :) I like to be wined and dined just like any other woman. I laugh, I play and sometimes I cry and once in a great while I get angry.... whoa look out! I love animals and I am especially fond of Lhasa Apsos and Shih Tzus which I foster for Animal Rescue Foundation here in Tulsa.
