    We are Fiction, a 6 piece rock band from Brisbane that started in early 2008 following years of talking about making a band between friends. Our music is diverse and spans different genres including pop-rock, alternative rock and often includes elements of classical music. Our influences are vast ranging from classic rock bands of the 1960s, and 70s, to more recent commercial and alternative music. Most importantly we love to play live as well as write new material. For better or worse, we record, mix, and master all of our music ourselves in an empty bedroom in the Lomas house. ..

    GIGS AND TOURING OPPORTUNITIES

    We're looking for a support act for a series of Brisbane and SE Qld/NNSW gigs this year and for a national tour, including festivals, next year. The gigs and tour have promotional and managerial financial backing.

    Support slots are currently available for The Zoo on Thursday 16th September and The Powerhouse in late October.

    We're also looking for original artists and bands to book for a new Sunday afternoon Brisbane venue.

    If you're interested in the local or national support gigs, or bookings for the Sunday afternoon gigs, or you just want more info or to say Hi, please come along to my FREE GIG at The INDOOROOPILLY HOTEL on SATURDAY 7th AUGUST and give your details to my management and support team at the meet-and-greet desk.

    Hey Fiction,


    How are you? Thanks for your friendship and support of my original music. I really appreciate it :o) I thought you might be interested to know I also perform at the Music Kafe (2pm Sunday March 21) and will be starting to record my first music album, "On The Couch" this week. The project should be completed mid-year, which is very exciting for me. I will keep you updated with how my recording is progressing in the coming months. I wish you all the best with your music.
