NEW ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE TO BUY ON-LINE AT
www.fiddlebox.co.uk

After years of being asked at gigs for a recording, much plotting and scheming, hours of recording, re-recording, mixing and mastering we are finally releasing an album! Here is a press release:

Popular local duo ‘Fiddlebox’ will be launching their new album on Thursday October 15th at Cuffern Manor near Solva. Fiddlebox are George Whitfield on accordion and vocals and Helen Adam on fiddle and vocals and both are full time musicians and prolific song and tune writers. They have had a very busy and successful year playing at festivals and events at home and abroad. The eponymous album showcases their wide-ranging musical influences and interests from Welsh traditional, to rock, electronica and minimalism. Helen and George will give a short performance of tracks from the album, and the evening will also feature stand up poetry from the unique and hilarious John Bilsborough, pictures by St David based artist Peter Thair, and landscape photography by Ken Day. Wine and light refreshments will be available and the evening is free entry, please arrive from 7.30 pm, performance at 8pm.

Fiddlebox are colourful, fun and mobile for carnivals, festivals and special events. Fiddlebox also do Barn Dance/Twmpath/Ceileidh: Folk dances from Wales and beyond to suit all abilities, called by George with music on fiddle and accordion.
