Helen Adan is a classically trained self-employed musician who plays with many groups from string quartets to barn dance bands. As well as performance, Helen's professional life involves her in composition, arranging, organising workshops and private teaching.
George Whitfield has been a self-employed musician for 15 years, George sings and plays with touring folk-rockers Pressgang. Solo, he entertains audiences with a wide range of popular songs from the 30’s to the present day. He also has an original set of self-penned songs and is a caller for barn dances.
Variations (by Helen) on the Welsh folksong tune "Ble Rwyt ti'n myned" recorded live at the National Botanic Garden of Wales for Welsh language TV program Wedi Tri September 2008.

Fiddlebox are a partnership of celtic fiddle, accordion and vocals, who bring a fresh sound to folk and popular music and with their own compositions draw inspiration from a variety of sources.

After years of being asked at gigs for a recording, much plotting and scheming, hours of recording, re-recording, mixing and mastering we are finally releasing an album! Here is a press release:
Popular local duo ‘Fiddlebox’ will be launching their new album on Thursday October 15th at Cuffern Manor near Solva. Fiddlebox are George Whitfield on accordion and vocals and Helen Adam on fiddle and vocals and both are full time musicians and prolific song and tune writers. They have had a very busy and successful year playing at festivals and events at home and abroad. The eponymous album showcases their wide-ranging musical influences and interests from Welsh traditional, to rock, electronica and minimalism. Helen and George will give a short performance of tracks from the album, and the evening will also feature stand up poetry from the unique and hilarious John Bilsborough, pictures by St David based artist Peter Thair, and landscape photography by Ken Day. Wine and light refreshments will be available and the evening is free entry, please arrive from 7.30 pm, performance at 8pm.
Fiddlebox are colourful, fun and mobile for carnivals, festivals and special events. Fiddlebox also do Barn Dance/Twmpath/Ceileidh: Folk dances from Wales and beyond to suit all abilities, called by George with music on fiddle and accordion.
