fiona rae of blue hill maine grew up in a house full of all kinds of music. she began fiddling as soon as she could hold her eighth size violin and at age seven, classical lessons with irene rissi commenced and continued until the beginning of highschool. at this time fiona rae switched her attention from classical to folk music, and began fiddling for contradances with her parents in the oakum bay string band. she took up the trumpet and bass in the highschool jazz program along with jazz violin and now plays several instruments and genres. in february '07 she recorded her first professionally produced album called IS. fiona rae aspires to create a fusion of folk, classical and jazz fiddling. ~ fionarae@verizon.net ~

Hi! Let us introduce ourselves: We’re a local group of folks who are working to get great local music to a new venue: The Alamo Theater in Bucksport. The Alamo is an intimate 140 seat venue and our artists nationally touring artists in the genre of folk, blues, funk, jazz, and Americana. hey, yeah i have a flash drive, you can borrow it but i might be needing it soon, you can def get one from the coputer lab and if you tell mr. gray why you need one he probaby could figure out how to convert them and stuff. the stuff that wouldn't open on your computer will probably open at school. good luck haha
