The core members of Fiddle Hill are Adam R. Sweet and Brian Bender. Other musicians and/or dance callers are added (as needed) for specific performances and events and may include Diane Sanabria (banjo/guitar), Paul Burton (guitar, whistle), Joe Blumenthal (bass), John Rough (banjo), Jim Bunting (guitar, bouzouki), Andrew Wiener (bodhran).
Fiddle Hill is a professional acoustic music ensemble based in western MA. Their experience is mostly in providing beautiful Celtic music for parties, wedding ceremonies and cruises.
The band specializes in joyful seating music, gorgeous processional music, simple yet uplifting ceremony music, lively recessional music, entertaining receiving line music and comfortable background music for cocktail hours and dinners.
Fiddle Hill was formed in 1995. Fiddler Adam R. Sweet has been performing together with area Irish quartet Woodkerne, duo Celticado and Connecticut Acoustic Trio Crossing The Pond.
Fiddle Hill plays a variety of styles, but mostly those of a Celtic nature including Irish, Scottish, Welsh and Cape Breton traditional acoustic music and song.
