I am lucky in that I have a chance to play with quite a few wonderful musicians. My favorite group includes Randy, Rebel, Margaret, Dusty and occasionally Debbie and John. Mostly I play the harp when I perform and that I do alone.

Music has many faces. I like to play the hopeful kind. The kind you can walk to, dance with, relax into, rev up with, calm down with and express the wonders of creation. That in a nutshell brings to mind the richness of Celtic Music, so ancient, yet living and growing with us this very day. I love to play with others so that all we're playing is our heart and soul. Fiddle, Harp, Flutes, Banjo, Guitars, Mandolin, Bazouki, Hammered Dulcimer, Piano, Viola, to name a few are the things I've played over the years.
Music can heal, give joy, give expression to grief, court, mend....
I was raised in Chicago and after living in quite a few places, settled in Grants Pass, Oregon, 25 years ago. I have a great 21 year old daughter named Katy, who I am so proud of. She is the greatest gift I could have been given. Her writing is exceptional and expresses a great soul.
Tracking down the footprints of God has been an interesting journey in this life. With so many one true religions about it can be a bit of a challenge, but then when I meet the givers, people who can't help themselves in creating beauty and goodness all around them, they are how I'd like to be. I am grateful for what I have been given. Simple rules--don't judge, forgive, love your neighbor, love your enemy, find the love that God demonstrates , feed the hungry, visit the sick.... ==do these and you can fly, I believe.
And play that music! -------- (((((((((((((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung.
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game
It's easy.
There's nothing you can make that can't be made.
No one you can save that can't be saved.
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time
It's easy.
All you need is love
All you need is love,
All you need is love.
Love is all you need.
All you need is love
All you need is love,
All you need is love.
Love is all you need.
There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
Nothing you can see that isn't shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be.
It's easy.
Hey Bob, I came across this and wanted to share it with you. I hope your well and happy. xxxxxxxxx H.
An Autumn Evening Dark hills against a hollow crocus sky Scarfed with its crimson pennons, and below The dome of sunset long, hushed valleys lie Cradling the twilight, where the lone winds blow And wake among the harps of leafless trees Fantastic runes and mournful melodies.
The chilly purple air is threaded through With silver from the rising moon afar, And from a gulf of clear, unfathomed blue In the southwest glimmers a great gold star Above the darkening druid glens of fir Where beckoning boughs and elfin voices stir.
And so I wander through the shadows still, And look and listen with a rapt delight, Pausing again and yet again at will To drink the elusive beauty of the night, Until my soul is filled, as some deep cup, That with divine enchantment is brimmed up.
Hey you!! I've been meaning to write you but things here have been pretty rough. I hope your doing well my dear and I hope you know you are loved by many. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
May Peace break out in your home and thieves come to steal your debts May the pockets of your jeans be magnets for $100 bills May love stick to your face like Vaseline and laughter assault your lips May your clothes always smell of success like smoking tyres and happiness slap you on the cheek May the tears you shed be always tears of joy May any problems you had forget your home address
In other words, May 2009 be the best year of your life and that every year thereafter be better than the year before. Happy New Year ((((Bob)))) to you and yours xxxxxxx
