Fiddler's Dream is totally acoustic in our shows in our regular room. We use no mics and no amplification is used or allowed per our charter. Fiddler's Dream celebrated it's Twentieth Anniversary in January 2007! The acoustics are great and you'll enjoy the relaxed environment.

Not worth missing a performance night at Fiddler's Dream! That's why there are recorders and tivos, just check out the diversity of music that you will find at one of the nicest acoustic music venues in the universe. Get out of the house and join your friends, and meet some new ones, over a good cup of fair trade coffee or tea!
Books
If you are a musician and are interested in booking at Fiddler's Dream, email our booking person at
nia@yellowdogs.com for more information. Please keep in
mind that we are TOTALLY ACOUSTIC ~ so no sound system, no
mics, no amps or electric instruments are used. (We do have a great piano for use by our performers, an electric Yamaha.... but we had to change our charter to be able to use that!) It is a great room and the audience really pays attention to the performer and the music. We offer a $10 stipend to performers for each 45 minute set, and each set has a dedicated tip jar; performers also keep all proceeds from CD sales. We are always amazed and inspired by the many wonderful musicians and afficianados that visit Fiddler's Dream - we'd love to meet you and provide a place for you to share your music!
Heroes
Musicians, singers, songwriters, song interpreters, music appreciators, afficionados, and most of all our volunteers...
About me: Fiddler's Dream is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization and acoustic music venue. Since 1987, Fiddler's Dream has provided a space for local and internationally touring artists to showcase their music. We are open on Thursday nights from 7:30pm to 10pm for Open Stage Night (be there before 7:30pm when the music starts to get your name in the hat-doors usually open by 6:20pm), and on Fridays and Saturdays (doors open at 7:15pm) with music starting at 8pm, finishing up around 10:30pm, when we usually offer an open stage till 11pm - three songs or ten minutes, whichever comes first. We also have special concerts and festivals. Our website is at www.fiddlersdream.org - check it for scheduled performers and festival information! We are located on 17th Street, one block North of Glendale Avenue. Phone 602-997-9795.
Who I'd like to meet: People who love music performed live and acoustically. Musicians who want a place to showcase their music. We also offer workshops that feature local and internationally touring artists - see our latest offerings on our website at fiddlersdream.org - if you are interested in trying something new, or enhancing your current skills, this might be just what you want!
A HUGE pleasure playing at your venue. I'll be back! It's great to play in a place where you don't need wires and amps...so confining. : ) Thanks for all the coffee Nia!
