About me:
My name is Linda Relph. I live in Sacramento, California with Chris, Samson and Tulley (check out my Pics). Brett used to live with us, but he went back to Texas.
My "Day Job" is working in the Prepress Department of a commercial print shop, but otherwise, I am a fiddler.
I grew up in Chico, but when I was 15, my family and I had a great opportunity and lived in Howth, Co. Dublin, Ireland for a year. I've been playing the fiddle for quite a few years, and it was that year in Ireland back when I was 15 that really got me started on traditional Irish music. I used to play in Fiddle Contests, and have a few trophies to show for it, including California State Ladies Champion four different times, and have placed nationally as high as fourth place.
I moved to Texas in 1990, and met many people, played much music: while in Texas I played with Waifs & Strays, Pegasus Project, Cuckoo's Nest, Moveable Feast, and I was one of the founding members of The Killdares, and was the host of Tipperary Inn's now defunct Wednesday night session for nearly five years.
Chris and I moved back to northern California in 2003. I now play pretty much just Irish music, and also have also organized a traditional-style Irish Session at the Fox & Goose here in Sacramento that happens the last Tuesday of every month. Chris and I are one-half of a band called "Nine-8ths Irish", playing traditional Irish music. We have recorded a CD, and it's the first Celtic CD on the FGM Records label. Our CD, entitled "West of Ireland", is available on CDBaby as well as a few other online shops...check out the website at www.nine8thsirish.com !!
Howdy, Leeenda! I hope all's well in Sacto. We'll be in Chico June 13-22 with a Family Reunion at the park in Durham on the 20th. Maybe we could get together? I'm looking forward to Dayton in July...my neck of the woods! Do you know exactly which of the 3 days you'll be playing on? We usually set off bunches of explosives here at our place on the 4th w/a pool party, bonfire, etc. If you & the gang are interested in travelling East a couple of hours, our doors are open! I love the photos on your page. Bring back excellent memories - there are so many. Celebrating with Mom & Linda at Scotty's. Your Friend & Adoring Fan, Julie

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.

Day 983 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength. In an attempt to show my disgust, I once again vomit on the carpet.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards.
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now................
THANX FOR THE LOVE... YOU KNOW I THINK THAT I NEVER KNEW THAT YOU HAD YOUR OWN MY-SPACE, ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU GUY'S JUST SHARED DA-CELT SPOT..... LOTSA LOVE... SEE YOU SOON...
