VILLAGE MENTALITY
Field Day has a dedicated village green area. Inspired by summer sports days and country fetes - Village Mentality's Village Green hosts side-stalls and activities throughout the daytime, ranging from sack-racing to splat-the-rat to the ' eat as many carrots as you can ' contest.
You can try your luck on the tombola, crack a few nuts on the coconut shy, join Pom Pom International in making pompoms for world peace - or just sit on some hay bales and stuff your face with homemade cake! There is always also a Tug O' War where some of the bands and artists appearing at the festival will do battle with only along piece of rope for weaponry. Its a chance to have fun and as the country saying goes 'be like an ant in the days of summer.'

Field Day is finished for another year, and we feel happy, tired and also sad its all over... Our 3rd sold out event was a great day, with what we felt was the best line up to date, best village mentality fete area and some bursts of sunshine and even a rainbow...
We would just like to thank all artists, DJs and performers, crew and all production, agents and media and the FD team that have taken part in Field Day and of course EVERYONE who bought a ticket. We are really pleased with the success of this year and the improvements that we have made. Roll on 2010 which we are already excited about....
