Fiercely Me was a hard rock band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin that formed in the year 1994. Lead singer and guitarist Chris Hernandez lead 3 versions of the band until a couple of years ago when frustration with the direction of the music set in. See Chris listens to bands like Band Of Horses, Big Star, and The Hives...but Fiercely Me's music was sounding more like Nickelback and the Foo Fighters. No offense to those who like that kind of music but Chris was tired of playing songs that were stuck in the 1990s.
So now Fiercely Me is going to be different. Solo acoustic songs will surface first but that won't be the extent of what this band will be. Guest musicians will appear. Fuller band versions of songs will appear. Quality will be low for some songs and high for others.
Which leads to the idea of the first post hard rock Fiercely Me release which will be titled "Low Fi On The High Side". It may be digital only. It may be a disc. Who knows? But for now some songs will pop up on this site once in a while. Feel free to leave your comments. Criticize. Compliment. Whatever the songs make you feel. Some will be downloadable and some won't. This is an experiment. What does the Internet really offer a "one man band"? Fiercely Me is ready to find out.
