   About Fifth Element PR
Fifth Element PR specialises in public relations for the entertainment business

We support the launch of singles, albums, videos and tours. We have previously worked on prestigious events such as the Empire Awards, and the Smash Hits Tour and Poll Winners Party.

Fifth Element is currently in it's 7th year as a company, whose expertise knowledge in PR has driven the success of artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Belinda Carlisle, Damien Dempsey, Amy Speace to name a few.
We are at present working with the following artists:

Alex Cornish - Alex Cornish’s debut album ‘Until The Traffic Stops’ - written, played, sung and produced in his Edinburgh bedroom by the self-confessed “complete fucking control freak” – has provoked the kind of tips and plays that any major-label release would beg for. Sessions for Radio 2 (Dermot O’Leary), 6 Music, XFM Scotland, a song played over the end credits of a Hollywoo d film and The Sunday Times' “hottest
Joan Osborne- Released on her own label, Womanly Hips, ‘Little Wild One,’ is Joan’s second soul album of 2008 (the first, ‘Breakfast In Bed’, was released in April) and features eleven original Osborne tracks, most penned in partnership with Chertoff, Bazilian and Hyman. Highlights include, ‘Hallelujah in the City’, ‘Sweeter Than The Rest’, ‘Cathedrals’, the haunting title track, ‘Little Wild One’ and the stripped-down, ‘Bury Me On The Battery’, an ode to Osborne’s coming of age hometown, New York City.

Ali Eskandarian- Penning a musical masterpiece is a gift, whilst bountiful lyrical content that’s brimming with experiential knowledge and wisdom takes life-long acquisition – and rarely do the two come together….. Ali Eskandarian, is the exception to this rule. This young US songwriter enters the UK music scene equipped with natural born talent, an exceptional vocal quality and life experience found only with maturity. With an uncanny vocal resemblance to the great Bob Dylan, Ali greets the UK with a debut single, ‘Government Meat’ and national tour supporting Terry Reid (both in May), plus a debut album ironically entitled, ‘Nothing To Say’, released on 29 August.

Oh Laura - “It sounds like a whole life has been lived through Frida’s vocals” - Bob Harris, Radio 2
Sweden takes the UK by storm as it exports one of its prime musical sensations to our shores – welcome Oh Laura. With their debut single, ‘Release Me’’, already boasting phenomenal Swedish chart success, as well as underpinning the Saab international TV ad campaign, Oh Laura will give UK audiences the chance to relish their lush musical talent as ‘Release Me’ sees its UK release on 26 May. Plus, with a gorgeously seductive album entitled, ‘A Song Inside My Head, A Demon In My Bed’, hot on its heels for 2 June release, Oh Laura are sure to be the must have ‘play’ throughout summer 2008.

Ivyrise - Hot footing the success of their debut single, Tips, which reached No7 in the UK indie charts in April, the awesome Ivyrise are back with an even greater second single entitled, ‘Disguise’, which smashes onto the UK music scene on 29th September. With a string of live dates planned.

The band, a four piece, cemented their status as a premium live act when they took to the stage supporting Kula Shaker in October 2007. With an inherent skill for combining memorable hooks with engaging lyrics Ivyrise's classic British rock sound has led to obvious comparisons with legends like Oasis and Coldplay.

The Daves-Raw, honest indie/rock from a bunch of hardworking British blokes with an incredible ability to pen an addictive chorus line – The Daves debut single, ‘Not In England’ hits the UK on May 5. This is premium British talent akin to the likes of Oasis and The Stones and with a bunch of live dates set from March 08, The Daves are seriously on track to follow the success of their predecessors.

Lazenby aren’t just a modern eclectic band – they’re an emerging iconic fusion of music, fashion and lifestyle; a rare breed of band that has previously only ever been seen in the likes of Mika, Scissor Sisters and Rufus Wainwright. As their debut single, ‘ Listening To Joni’ is unveiled on 16 June and album ‘ The Loft Years’ on July 7th, UK audiences will be exposed to the Lazenby ‘experience’ which steps beyond simple audio captivation.

Natalia- Whose debut single ' Pretty Like Me' released February 25th 2008, has already exploded into the pop music scene. Natalia has already toured with the likes of Girls Aloud and McFly, her single 'Pretty Like Me' looks into society's modern obsession with image.

Amy Speace - Tour with Ian Hunter, February 2008. Amy Speace has been dubbed the Americana version of Dido, having already achieved success via her album ' Songs for Bright Street' and accomplishing a string of award nominations under her belt such as'Emerging Artist Of The Year' from the 2007 Folk Alliance Awards, Amy is now preparing for her UK tour in February suppporting Ian Hunter.

Belinda Carlisle - Belinda is to embark on a full UK Tour in March, following the success of her gorgeous collection of classic French chansons and pop music from the 40s, 50s and 60s including ‘La Vie En Rose’ and ‘Ne Me Quitte Pas’ opulently placed alongside the hits that turned Carlisle into a superstar, her tour promises to be nothing of an exquisite masterpiece.

ALBUM REVIEWS

Get Ready To Rock
“an extremely compelling debut 4.5/5”

The Beat Surrender
“an album that mixes electro, pop and soul in equal measure 4/5”

Room Thirteen
“If I had to recommend something for the next Bond theme tune, Lazenby and ‘Let Me Live’ would be it”

BBC Music
“The Loft Years is a startlingly original piece of work”

Classic Rock Society 5/5
"This is a classy 6 piece, brought together by Arctic Monkeys manager Geoff Barradale and fronted by the sensual sarah Lazenby. Lazenby ooze style and sophistication on a debut cd that is going to stand out from the pack upon its release in July. Mixing a tried and tested indie sound, with the glamour of sarah lazenby and a collection of icy cool, contemporary songs in the true british idiom (like debut Listening To Joni) or their acclaimed live performances from the Edinburgh festival, The 02 Wireless Festival and MTV party at Cannes, the band mix pop with that retro sixties chic of Scott Walker et al, Which is so popular right now (see also The last Shadow Puppets). This should be the sound of the summer. Timeless

Boyz magazine 4/5
Stylish, Accessible and fronted by the delicious sarah,Lazenby have cult hit written all over them. At times, sarah's voice has a graceful lilt similar to Erykah badu and tracks like "Touch Me Hold Me" manage to be chic, pounding and experimental at the same time. Yes, they may look pretty but theres a grit to Lazenby that could help them stick around.
