| Influences | At its core, Fifth South is a Rock n Roll band, A Guitar, Drums, and Bass outfit that takes inspiration from many musical styles. The band follows a variety of leads to create a vintage sound, one that is familiar, yet unique, and relevant.
While Playing intimate club settings for the past five years, Fifth South has also made themselves at home playing to larger festival crowds, sharing the bill with acts like Col. Bruce Hampton and the Code Talkers, Perpetual Groove, Tishamingo, and Coco Montoya. At various times, Fifth South is pleased to showcase the talents of other friends and artists on Guitar, Drums, an/or Piano to name a few.
And while they like to see where a song can take them, it is still all about “the song”. After all, what fun is getting out there, if you can’t get back home? |
