I do not make phone calls and prefer not to receive them. Everything I know about the system is on Fight CPS website. I'm sorry that for many issues it isn't nearly enough information - but you're welcome to post your questions on the message forum where you may find someone who knows what you need to learn about. I don't know all the answers. I'm just one person who is distressed by the child welfare system and wants to do something to help people whose lives are being destroyed by child welfare injustices - so I started a website in October 2000 and what you see on Fight CPS is the current version of that.

I do not work for or advocate for individual client families - I just don't have time - that's why I put whatever I could offer on Fight CPS for everyone to see. If you want someone to answer a question about your case the best way to get attention is to leave a message on the message forum. That's better than email because most likely you'll get responses from other advocates as well. I don't always answer my email because in the past I've gotten too much of it and I have a busy life besides just fighting CPS. All I can say about that is "I'm sorry" and "please use the message board instead".

What I'm trying to do is to help victims learn to help themselves. There's only one of me and there's many thousands of you. Please learn to fight the system by reading and learning everything you can about it.

Who I'd like to meet:
Legislators that want to change child welfare services so that it no longer victimizes families.
Lawyers who are willing to sue CPS.
Lawyers who will consider helping a child welfare client pro-bono at least once per year.

Last year, My son was taken away from me, The baby's Dad wasn't supposed to be around, and well he made himself be around, because of this, I went to the police... BAD IDEA.. filed charges.. and they came and took Aedan from me... he is only 2 at the time.. now 3.. and they terminated my rights, told me that they are worried that Aedan's father will contact me in the future when he gets out of prison, in 2012 and they are worried i won't be able to handle him.. judge said on the record it had nothing to do with me... i am a terrific mother.. I am 21 years old.. and am told that if I ever have a baby again... that CPS will come to the delivery room and take my newborn.. is that true? I just don't understand it. The laws need to change. It is bad enough I lost my son... bad enough I will never see my son again... but to lose the right to have more kids... I have a whole lifetime ahead of me... and I am only given ONE LIFE from the dear lord... and this is how I have to live it because of the the system?? I am going to live to be a old lonely women.. no children... no nothing... I just am so sad.. and lost...
