  • Television

It's all about DVD box sets from the library these days, but I've greatly enjoyed Firefly and Battlestar Galactica, as well as watching the Daily Show online.
  • Books

Most of my reading these days is either for school or reference material for stage combat- for an idea of the latter, check out My Amazon Portal.

Lately I've been finding work on book trailers, which is a fun niche market to discover.

About me:

I wear many hats: Executive Assistant, Fight Choreographer and Stunt man for stage and screen, Family Man... I run a prop weaponry rental business in Seattle (Fight Designer, LLC), and also do stage combat instruction, choreography, and performance as well as gun wrangling, blood effects, burn stunts and safety crew, and other related jobs.

My wife and I have also done RenFaire acts (sometimes with the addition of friends), under the name of Foiled Again!

When I have time between my two jobs, it's spent with family or working on my house, although I still enjoy the occasional time out to go to workshops, hit the shooting range, play with swords, build props, or other hobbies. I'm also a graduate student at Antioch University, in the Strategic Communications masters program.

My MySpace page is used primarily as a networking tool for the theatre and film work that I do; I try to keep it devoid of personal exposition or drama, and to focus on content that may be of interest to those in the related industries. The blog here has been intended as such, but with the general migration to other social networking sites, I've changed my primary industry blog over to WordPress.

..

Who I'd like to meet:

Filmmakers and Theatre Directors, or anyone associated with the arts & entertainment field who's interested in putting a little exciting and safe action into their productions, stunt or stage combat or movement specialists looking to talk shop, actors wanting training, martial artists or sword and armor enthusiasts for the same. ...and of course, I'm always happy to meet someone who's hiring, or looking to rent props.

My story concept for M54 has spread around the independent filmmaking community and continues to spread. I have 3-4 more deals and currently trying to get more. Check out my latest collaboration with Rugged Films as they do their own take on the M54 and what happens when it malfunctions. Starring Jeffrey Griffith, Chelsea Bailey, Nathan Hoskins, and Corey Eshom.

  • Aug 10 2009 7:57 PM

    no problem

T.O.P is a martial arts stunt team, kinda like jackie chan's stunt team.. we perform Hong Kong style fight choreography, stunts, martial arts etc for asian communities and others around seattle.. We're a new group, just started around last year. We mostly do live stage performances for festivals and such, and we're slowly transitioning to filming short movies (still need pratice).. I admire the stuff that you do and hope to be doing that kinda quality work in the future

we're stil have much to learn

Independent filmmaker releasing BLANK worldwide on 3.21.09

The film will be released on DVD for sale worldwide, in a variety of Independent Video Stores, Amazon, Various online stores, streaming online, and on all torrent sites to insure everyone the opportunity to enjoy the film.

The concept behind the torrent sites is that people will watch the movie and if they like the film that they will go to a designated website or the official myspace website and donate or pay what they thought the film was worth to them.

    Ray Band - BLANK trailer

Jack and Jill went in room five to have a bit of fun, the two they
found looked around and realized they had no place to run.
    -Jill

A list of sites to see the movie will be posted two days before the release on 3.21.09
