Fight The Bear
This four-piece band from Bishops Castle, Shropshire fusing together a modern stomping approach on the Ska, Rock, Punk and Indy genres. Fight The Bear’s sound is centered on infectious grooves with cheeky and colourful riffs alongside unique singing styles ranging from catchy shout along vocals to complex vocal harmonies. Taking influence from all styles of music from around the world Fight The Bear always exhibit something interesting to listen to.
Over the past 5 years since their formation they have recorded several demo’s leading to their first studio album entitled “Gutter Love” released independently in 2006.
Winning successive competitions has opened the band to Radio exposure and opportunities to play to Thousands. Since then, the band has focused on playing live to the masses from local pubs and clubs to large respectable music venues and festivals. Priding themselves on honest, energetic and professional performances and receiving a warm response all over the U.K.
In High Demand they are playing almost constantly playing on average two or three gigs a week, and organising frequent tours across the UK. Building up more and more experience and increasing their all important loyal fan base.
Recently the band have been in the studio and recorded their most recent demo, laying down the foundations of a much anticipated second album.

We are constantly creating various different styles of music to amuse our selves, and are slowly developing our own way of life. we play lively music crafted for dancing, we feel there is only so much a cd can deliver, it's all about the live performance and we try to capture this in our recordings.
