About Our Fight:
FightWithFood.ORG is an nonprofit initiative inspired by The Flobots to fight hunger by creating a .COMmunity of Musicians, Events, Venues, Volunteers and Food Banks worldwide, providing a .NETwork-ing site for people to unite, collaborate and aspire to inspire.

Who I'd like to meet: Volunteers are needed many places throughout our organization, from helping with food drives at events to donating time at food banks. All volunteers get in to the event that they are working absolutely free when done working the food drive. Each event has one appointed volunteer coordinator and approximately one to six volunteer staff.
Coordinators may be appointed by the local food bank or FightWithFood.ORG. All positions are un-paid. The coordinator will be the point person in arranging staff and coordinating the setup location upon arrival at the venue.
FightWithFood.ORG will also nominate one person from each crew to stand on stage and thank the band, event or venue for helping the cause. This nomination will be based on a combination of previous events worked and hours donated at the food bank. The more events worked and hours donated the better chance for nomination. Nominees will read verbatim from a script given by FightWithFood.ORG, and be announced either before the sponsor band goes on or during their set.

Are you guys coming to Sunday night's Green Festival closing party May 3 Avid Green @ the Oriental? 7pm - 1am with music, art, food, good people coming together ... Musicians from CAN playing include myself performing a set with band (keys/vox, tuba, violin, and percussion) and Kailin Yong Peace Project will play an experimental jazz set as well.
