I finished your journal a couple days ago and I wanted to say that it truly inspired me to be myself and take a closer look at how hard it really is to come out to people as homosexual or bisexual. I never really thought about it before because I assumed that everyone was happy to be the way that they were and were confident because that's the way that I am. Wow, I was wrong. Soo many people have serious problems telling people and accepting it. I thank you for giving me an inside look on how hard it really can be for some people and in other cases how dangerous it is for other people. I hope that you keep writing because people need to know what it means to come out and live a life that is complicated at times simply because people don't understand how it feels to be homosexual/bisexual.Thank you for publishing your journal. I understand that it was hard enough for you to tell your closest loved ones and how hard it must've been to publish it out in the open. I take my hat off to you, if I were wearing one ;]. Then I randomly (ok, not so randomly, I did look in the gay and lesbian book section) found "Figuring It Out". And then I read it, beginning to end. I identify as bisexual...but that gets questioned quite a lot. I'm figuring it out, too. It really does make a difference to know that other people have gone through and go through the same things that I do. Thank you so much for sharing your journaling! :) Greta
