    Hi, Nicole.. :]

    I've been meaning to write to you for a while now. I finished your journal a couple days ago and I wanted to say that it truly inspired me to be myself and take a closer look at how hard it really is to come out to people as homosexual or bisexual. I never really thought about it before because I assumed that everyone was happy to be the way that they were and were confident because that's the way that I am. Wow, I was wrong. Soo many people have serious problems telling people and accepting it. I thank you for giving me an inside look on how hard it really can be for some people and in other cases how dangerous it is for other people. I hope that you keep writing because people need to know what it means to come out and live a life that is complicated at times simply because people don't understand how it feels to be homosexual/bisexual.Thank you for publishing your journal. I understand that it was hard enough for you to tell your closest loved ones and how hard it must've been to publish it out in the open. I take my hat off to you, if I were wearing one ;]. Keep being you, bless you.

    Coincidence or serendipity? I randomly found Lulu last night--never heard of it before. Then I randomly (ok, not so randomly, I *did* look in the gay and lesbian book section) found "Figuring It Out". And then I read it, beginning to end. I identify as bisexual...but that gets questioned quite a lot. I'm figuring it out, too. It really does make a difference to know that other people have gone through and go through the same things that I do. Thank you so much for sharing your journaling! :) Greta

    You're welcome for the review. The problem is fixed. It was gunky build up in the pipes downstairs. Apparently not as bad as it could have been, according to our maintenance person. It was bad enough for me, though.
