hi this is ray from first step management,together with my other half jackie, we have 35 years of putting on concerts/shows/adult nights and discos .ive run and promoted at music venues all round the country from london to swindon and now in north devon,and am a regular promoter at the aggi in braunton,also the palladium in bideford,and the underground on barnstaple.im music promoter for the annual birdman festival every year running the music stage which attracts 1,000s of people every year and raises lots of money for local charitys, (£11,000 in 2008) and ( £14,000 this year ).ive also written coloumns for several music magazines over the years and produce my own free music guide here every month venue magazine .i also put on the entertainment each year bands/karioke for country cousins foreign language school in ilfracombe for the 10 weeks summer season,and i was the music promoter for rock against child pornography,putting on all the uk gigs from its start in 2007 to september of 2008.ive done sucessful tours with many bands over the years (the true metal tour in 2008)and rockmare before christmas in december of 2008,also the fireyed uk tour,true metal tour 2 and the illicit eve tour this year with 8 more to come before the end of 2009.we have raised £1,0000s for charitys over the years with concerts and discos,including,nspcc,lifeboat,womans cancer and refuges,north devon hospice,children in need,childline,banados,and i do promotions charity work with iron maidens charity clive aid.and very proud to be the uk agent for top american model lori ann.
