Who am I? Where do I begin. What to leave out and what to make sure I include.
.... Um- well for starters I'm considered a pioneer in Indie Hip Hop having discovered early on in their careers some of the finest including Blackalicious, Atmosphere, Swollen Members, Rubberoom, MF Doom, C Rayz Walz, Sway, Skeme Team, and others.
Also being one of first promoters to bring artists like Saian Supa Crew, Aloe Blacc, Sky Hy, Dandi Wind, Thunderheist, Spank Rock, Kudu and others to decent sized venues in NYC and creating platforms for these artists to shine and breakthrough.
I've also done PR for hundreds of hip hop, soul and electro acts.
I've attended MIDEM, SXSW, PopKomm, CMJ, NXNE as a speaker, moderator, event producer and party promoter.
Produced over 2000 parties/live performances in my 18+ career including being the late night booker for Joe's Pub/Public Theater before I handed over the torch to Roxy Cotton..
My last record gig was head of International at TVT Records where I worked with Lil Jon, Ying Yang Twins, Pitbull, Towers of London, Ambulance, Teedra Moses and others.
Some call me a VETERAN
Others- a CONNECTOR.
I call myself-- IMPRESARIO/CURATOR/INTERNATIONAL TASTEMAKER
I've lately been delving into SOUL Music. It's pure, it's musicianship, it's creative and reaches a more mature audience which is perfect as I mature myself(lol)
Some of the artists I've been behind are: Maya Azucena, Anthony David, Melissa Young, Angela Johnson, Jennifer Johns, Ivana Santilli, Alice Russell and others.
I'm co-producing a Soul Music Conference in Dallas called I GOT SOUL in June.
One thing goes without saying- my track record and reputation speaks for itself and my passion and dedication to Urban Culture resonates around the world.
I'm not tooting my own horn but just letting you know- because I've been quietly creating trends, discovering great artistry and outreaching and mixing/blending for many many years and still an underdog and still coming up and still waiting to REALLY SHINE!!!
I feel I'm finally ready to BLOOM...
My new venture/baby is The Bloom Effect.- A one stop shop- consulting, branding, marketing and producing lifestyle events
Most of you may not know or care but I was a concert pianist for 21 years of my life and played Rocky III(Rachmaninoff) when I was 17.
I also did the voice over for 1999 MTV Video Music Awards hosted by Chris Rock- was on for the entire 3 hour awards show..
I'm also not ashamed to admit I've done 900 numbers back in the day for extra income. Damn it paid well.
A lot of my former interns have gone on to be famous. I like to consider myself hard-core. Hard core in the sense that I love being out all night dancing in the clubs, meeting new people and just overall partying for life.
I possess an effervescent quality and a spunky vivacious spirit. If you can keep up- good for you.
Here I am.
Love to Live, Live to Love!
Hey Chicken-Heads Check out Theo, He has performed on my show a grip 'O times, but here is our first kitchen session.
Ok I have gotten into debates, sometimes heated (not on my side of course) about this artist. That is a fucking good sign he is changing an old game in a way that is similar to… I dare say, Michael jackson. But I’m not comparing them - but they both have a secret code in their steez that is as unique as a finger print. Just listen to him smash on a vast array of sonic, bass, treble, tempos, frequencies, beats, mainly provided by the magnificent Machinedrum. Then watch him live. FUCK FUCK FUCK. Now watch him mature into what’s to come. Headz up whole world.

...filigree and athmospheric electrosounds, combined with the charismatic vocals of the singer Nic Koray, all in all creating an extraordinarily melancholic and thought-provoking music having no equal...
"Somewhere On The Line is the best debut album in the widened Trip-Hop-Genre since Goldfrapps legendary Felt Mountain" (Zillo Magazine 03/09)
