A banda Filhotinho teve início por volta de junho de 2004, na cidade de Estrela/RS, sendo ainda um projeto sem destino, tendo apenas como característica de ser uma banda de power violence tosco iniciada por Felipe (Arroiz), Pedro (Bigão), Mariana e Tuane.
Ao final de 2004 já começavam a gravação do que seria sua primeira demo (Tanto Assim?!) que seria lançada em janeiro de 2005.
Em 2006 a banda continuou, porém com marcha lenta por ter seu guitarrista (Bigão) estar prestando, forçadamente, o serviço militar. Sua baixista (Tuane) deixa a banda no mesmo ano, e é substituida por Matheus (Costela), que teve grande importância no pouco tempo que ficou.
Em 2007, outra saída, agora da vocalista, isto ao mesmo tempo em que a segunda demo (Rock di Rua) era lançada por volta de dezembro.
Mesmo com as coisas não indo bem, a banda resolve modificar sua formação com a saída de Costela, no início de 2008. Bigão saí da guitarra e vai para o vocal, junto com Jéssica, a nova vocalista. Contando ainda com chegada de Carlos (Pê), Maicon e Guilherme.
Atualmente a banda lança sua terceira demo sem nome, produzida para apenas publicar os sons que virão no seu próximo material que será lançado em breve.
The band started around june of 2004 in the city of Estrela/RS, in the time it was just a project without any certain destiny with the only purpose of being a raw power-violence band formed by Felipe (Arroiz), Pedro (Bigão), Mariana e Tuane.
In the end of 2004 they started to record what would became their first demo (Tanto Assim?) that was released on january of 2005.
In 2006 the continued its journey but slowlier because the guitarist was forced to serve on the military service. The Bassist (Tuane) left the band in this same year and was replaced by Matheus (Costela), that was very important for the band even not staing for long time on Filhotinho.
In 2007, another change, this time the vocalist left the band, in the same time as the second demo (Rock di Rua) was released on December.
Even with things not going too well, the band decided to change its formation once again, Matheus left the bass on the beggining of 2008. Bigão left the guitar and became the singer together with Jessica, the new vocalist. With the arrival of Carlos, Maicon and Guilherme, the band reached their atual formation that is about to release their third demo, produced just for a preview of the songs from their new material that is going to be released soon.
