Nato a Ferrara nel 1974, ho cominciato nel 1990 inizialmente a suonare il basso elettrico passando successivamente alla chitarra elettrica avvicinandomi gradualmente alla musica jazz.
Nel 1993 dopo aver ottenuto terminato le scuole medie superiori ed ottenuto il diploma, ho partecipato ai seminari estivi in Umbria della Berlkee School di Boston che mi hanno permesso di approfondire gli iniziali studi sulla musica jazz.
Nel 1994 sono stato scelto per poter sostenere i corsi di musica Jazz e musica leggera presso il conservatorio di Groningen, Olanda, dove sono rimasto per i due anni successivi, avendo cosi' la possibilita' di dedicarmi esclusivamente alla musica jazz, sia per quello che riguarda lo studio strettamente legato allo strumento principale sia quello legato allo strumento complementare quale e' stato il pianoforte; sia per quanto riguarda una piu' approfondita analisi dell'armonia; e partecipare tra le altre cose a seminari di famosi jazzisti di fama mondiale (John Abercombie,Charlie Haden, Scott Henderson, Gary Willis, John Taylor, Tuck Andrews Pat Metheny, Leonardo Amuedo) .
Dal 1997, dopo essere tornato in Italia, ho alternato lo studio del jazz suonando in contesti diversi dal jazz piu' vicini alla musica leggera e al funky; nel mentre ho continuato ha seguire seminari piu' legati legati allo strumento anche sotto il profilo acustico, avvicinandomi alle tecniche nuove ed alternative pi.. vicine al finger style, seguendo i master di Paolo Giordano e Tommy Emmanuel.
Nel 2003 ho partecipato ai corsi dell'accademia dei floridi di bologna sotto la guida del maestro Semola seguendo un iter di teoria piu' vicino a quello che e' lo studio classico , nonostante nello stesso periodo, dopo un viaggio in Francia mi sono progressivamente avvicinato alla musica Jazz Acustica di stampo manouche, il cui stile da sempre legato alla figura di Django Reinhardt mi ha profondamente influenzato e che ho cominciato a studiare da allora secondo l'insegnamento dei chitarristi zingari dell'aria nord francese come Angelo Debarre, Mandino Reinhardt.
Dal 2004 collaboro inoltre al progetto musicale che fa capo al cantautore Luca Bui in collaborazione con l'etichetta indipendente STRANISUONI di Reggio Emilia. Attualmente , oltre a seguire i corsi per il diploma accademico in musica jazz al conservatorio di Adria, suono in progetti di duo/trio jazz e alterno (quando ho nostalgia dei sixties...) formazioni di musica leggera.
I was born in Ferrara in 1974, I started to play initially the electric bass passing subsequently to the guitar approaching me gradually to the jazz music. In 1993 after finished the advanced medium schools and obtained the diploma, I have participated to the summer clinics of the Berlkee School of Boston in Umbria that has allowed me to begin in a deeper way the jazz music. In the 1994 I've have been chosen for being able to support the course of Jazz music and light music near the conservatory of Groningen, Holland, where I stayed for the two years succeeded and where I was able to jam with some very famous musician ,having therefore the possibility to dedicate me exclusively to music jazz, is for what legacy to the main instrument regards the study closely which the guitar is that legacy to the complementary instrument which it has been the piano; it is as far as one more deep analysis of harmony concept; and to take part between the other things to workshps of famous jazz players of world-wide reputation (John Abercombie, Charlie Haden, Scott Henderson, Gary Willis, John Taylor, Tuck Andrews Pat Metheny, Leonardo Amuedo). The experience in Holland has been more over fundamental for being able to develop between the other things a real one uses of the English language in a various within, which exactly that musical one. From 1997, after to be returned in Italy, I have alternated the study of the jazz playing in various contexts from jazz to light music and funky; meanwhile I have continued has to follow workshops more close to the instrument also under the acoustic profile, approaching me the new techniques and alternatives of the finger style, following master of Paolo Giordano and Tommy Emmanuel. In 2003 I have participated to the course of the Accademia dei Floridi of Bologna under the guide of theory master Semola following a study plan more close to what it is the classic theory, although in the same period, after a travel in France progressively they are approached me to the manouche music , whose style from always legacy to the figure of Django Reinhardt has deeply influenced me and that I have begun to then study the gipsy guitar players of the north of France like Angelo Debarre, Mandino Reinhardt. From 2004 I have moreover begun to collaborate with one record label independent Stranisuoni of Reggio Emilia to various musical plans, especially with the singer Luca Bui. Currently, beyond following the course for the academic degree in jazz music in the conservatory music institute of Adria, I play in small jazz group and different line up of light music.
