FiliTico significa 1/2 Filipino 1/2 Costa Rica (Tico). En 2001, FiliTico empezó a estudiar periodismo y administración de empresas de música en Florida Atlantic University donde empezó su obsesión con el género psy-trance. FT trabajó para Owl Radio como director de promociones y música electrónica y produjo su show llamado "The Beat Monger" (El que pedalea ritmos) con sets de varios DJs del país e internacionales. En 2005 abrió para uno de sus ídolos Astral Projection. Ese verano FiliTico también abrió su propia semanal en la discoteca Ninety9 con su amigo DJ Spectra. En 2006 tocaba los sabados en una estación pirata en Fort Lauderdale, Radio Superstar, hasta su último dia de movimiento. FiliTico trabajo en promociones para Ultra Music Festival en Miami por 4 años y tocó los últimos dos, el Eco-Village en 2007 y en el UMF Collective en 2008. Ha tocado raves en parques y en fabricas abandonadas y otros lugares extraños. En 2009 FT toco en el Guayaquil Fashion Week en Ecuador. Últimamente, FiliTico toca una mezcla de Deep Progressive Minimal.
The name means half Filipino half Costa Rican (Tico). In 2001, FiliTico attended Florida Atlantic University to study multimedia journalism and music administration. Here came his first contact and ensuing obsession with psytrance. FT worked for Owl Radio as promotions and electronic music director and produced his own show, "The Beat Monger" featuring local and international guests. in 2005, he opened for one of his favorite acts, Astral Projection and also promoted his own psytrance night at Ninety9 with long timefriend DJ Spectra. 2006 ad him spinning in a pirate radio station Superstar until it was closed for obvious reasons. FiliTico has worked in promotions for the Ultra Music Festival in Miami for 4 years so far, and had DJed at the Eco-Village in 2007 and the UMF Collective en 2008. He has played in abandoned factories and open air parks and other strange places. In 2009, FT headlined the Guayaquil Fashion Week in Ecuador. Lately FT is spinning a blend of Deep Prgressive Minimal.
