Review from
The Big Takeover by Dianca Potts
Issue 62
This Cincinnati trio conjures up nostalgia for 1980's post punk favorites. "Let Me Know" begins with precise percussion and haunting vocals as front man Eric Bates croons, "I'm lost in the shadow of you," sounding like Echo & the Bunnymen's Ian McCulloch incarnate. "Goodnight" is a vocal mesh of The Misfits' Danzig and Morrissey's Bona Drag. The closing "Under The Moss" sounds like The Smithereens with traces of Morrissey's legendary vocalization and repetitive lyrical genius. Fillmore's Therapy proves this three-piece is disciplined yet not entirely predictable, while conveying a definite sense of musical maturity....with the occasional tip of the hat to Bates' influences.
Hey this is A FundRaiser for my Mother In Law, who was diagnosed with Leukemia. It's going to be at my house startin around seven, with live music from 9-12. So Spread the word, it's for a good cause!!!
Where do you get all these cool pictures? I like the signs you had up for a while very cool. Who is the artist? Nice having lunch the other day. Take care....rb

Hi, greetings and thanks for the interest and the add. I like the stuff you have here. Superb taste. I thought you might like to know that I have posted a couple of new fusion mixes you may well like. Our latest is a killer mix featuring Coldplay and Jennifer Lopez called You Do Clocks Well. We paid a consultant millions to come up with that ingenious title! Millions of salt granules. We cutt up, bash up and smashing around the likes of Coldplay, Kraftwerk, Leona Lewis, Rhianna, Pixies, Gallows and Muse. New up is a mix featuring New Order and Jeff Buckley and Coldplay and Les Rythmes Digitales. I have also taken a bit of Leona Lewis, the new queen of R&B in our book and a bit of Gnarls Barkley, shaken it all up, stuck a bomb under it and boomshaka we have something to mess with your grey cells. I have given you a sneak preview below. Another than has gone up is a radical combo of Rihanna with a dollop of Peter, Bjorn and John. There are other fresh mixes featuring Coldplay and Kraftwerk. Therea are even more tight fusions on the myspace which is being updated with new tunes and vids regularly. Thanks again for the add and your interest. And we want to know what you think. That's you! Love and Peace. SeXDwArF.
And remember...don't do genre. It's stereotype by another name.
