TONY TARANTINO was born in Queens, New York, to Dominic and Elizabeth Tarantino and was raised in Brooklyn. The family, which included sister Diane, moved to Los Angeles, California. Tony graduated from L.A.'s Washington High School. Two years later he auditioned for and was accepted to the Pasadena Playhouse. He caught the "acting bug" from his father who in the early Thirties appeared in several westerns with stars such as Buck Jones, Tim McCoy, Tom Mix, Hoot Gibson, and Fred Thompson. During the 60's and 70's Tony acquired many skills. He received his general aviation pilot license for single- and multi-engine rating; became proficient in Western quickdraw and won awards for excellent marksmanship with handguns and rifles; his Martial Arts training earned him a black belt in Karate and Kung-Fu; and as a member of Malibu Roving Archers he became skilled with a bow and arrow. While a student at the Pasadena Playhouse, where he learned modern dance and fencing, he worked for tips playing guitar and singing folk songs in local coffeehouses. His love for music lead him to form several bands, playing lead, rhythm and bass guitar and singing in supper clubs and night-clubs up and down the Sunset strip in Hollywood and the Bay area. Tony also enjoyed raising and training roping and cutting horses on his ranch in Southern California. Tony has recently produced a television interview show, co-hosted a radio talk show and in 1998 worked on four films, starring in one. Tony is a member of "Silver Foxes", the brainchild of producer David Krieff. The "Silver Foxes" is a group of celebrity parents that include: Sal Pacino, father of Al; Patsy Swayze, mother of Patrick; and Jenny Crawford, Cindy's mom; Christine Johnson, Magic's mom; Nikki Robbins, Tony Robbins mom. This exciting team of Silver Foxes led by Stephanie Powers has just completed an exercise video. Currently, Tony has completed the writing of his original screenplay titled "New Horizons". From its inception, Tony wrote the lead character for Tom Cruise. Tony is now personally casting the rest of his main characters. "New Horizons" has 53 speaking parts. To keep in shape Tony has a personal trainer, PJ Bowen, and a boxing trainer, Hervi Estrada. An involved member of SAG, Tony joined BookPALS, volunteering three hours a week reading to K-3 classes. Tony makes his home in the beautiful hills of Southern California.

JERRY CUPIT: Cupit Music was established in 1982 by Louisiana native and entrepreneur, Jerry Cupit. Cupit, a martial arts competitor for more than a decade, was sidelined with a severe shoulder injury, leading him to pursue his other talent; music. Cupit’s band found regional success in the south, prompting him to move to Nashville and pursue a career in songwriting and session work. The culmination of following that dream is Cupit Music, a music company which has quietly appreciated success as a publishing company, production company, and record label. Cupit Music has had over 100 songs recorded by such artists as Dierks Bentley, Hank Williams Jr, The Bama Band, Ken Melons, Mark Chesnutt, Billy Yates, Tony Stampley, Orion, Clinton Gregory, Memarie, Kevin Sharp, and more. Jerry Cupit has also produced music for several motion picture soundtracks including Tony Tarantino’s film “Blood Money,” and several “Orion” films including “Behind Enemy Lines”.
In addition, Jerry Cupit has written and produced songs such as Ken Mellons’ hit “Jukebox Junkie” (BMI Million-Air award winner), “Ruba Dubbin”, “Working For the Weekend”, and new artist Memarie’s “What if He’s Right”, which achieved 1 for ten consecutive weeks in Christian Country.
Cupit also produced the early studio sessions on several of today’s stars including Tim McGraw and Rebecca Lynn Howard. His recent work on Kevin Sharp was included on a Walt Disney project alongside artists such as Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Bette Midler, and Sting. Cupit is presently working on a new studio project with Kevin Sharp, and on Memarie, and is in the process of writing and producing the movie soundtrack for “The Life Story of John Wayne.”
Cupit’s educational book, “Nashville Songwriting” has sold in excess of 10,000 copies, along with his gift book “Daddy Always Said.” “Nashville Songwriting” has been used as a teaching tool for several schools and colleges throughout the US, Canada, and also in Switzerland. The book has been translated into three languages and Brail.
Cupit was awarded the Atlanta Society of Entertainers Producer of the Year Award in 2004, and is also the recipient of the Tennessee Songwriters Association “Hallmark Award” for his contribution to songwriting.
Cupit Music’s ProTools HD Studio has recorded artists such as LoneStar, Edwin McCain, George Jones, Dolly Parton, John Anderson, BJ Thomas, Petula Clark, and many others.
Cupit’s Record division began in 2002 and supports a full staff including regional and in-house radio promotion. Currently, the roster includes Kevin Sharp, Memarie, Mustang Creek, Jerry Burkhart, and bluegrass artist Michelle.
Cupit Music Group is in the process of building a new 7500 square foot facility just off I-40 (Music City highway) in Nashville.
When asked about future plans for Cupit Music, Jerry states “Our focus is now our recording artists. There have been several labels that started before us and after us that are now gone. We are blessed to have achieved what we have and I am thankful we are still growing.
