   About film noir
Born of two human parents upon the SS Humbleburg Jeremy was destined for greateness the moment he set foot on dry land. Unfortunately this occured after a horrible storm ravished the ship he was on killing all but him. At the tender age of four stranded on a deserted island Jeremy found the strength to tame the wild beasts who inhabited that island and call himself King while remaining optimistic knowing the world must be using it's evey available resource to find him. He wouldn't be rescued until eleven years later. Fortunately that was a good thing because the animals on the island taught him how to make "moo-sick".

No, thank you for adding me. I love your music, and Asche and Spencer as well. In fact, I found you while I was looking for Asche and Spencer music. Not exactly sure where Tulsa U.S.A is, but I look forward to checking out one of your performances if the opportunity ever arises.

hi, have you heard about me? i am nico. i like music.

i like the way your music sounds. a lot.

is it called "film noir" because you are black? or because you are angst-y?

either way, it's absolutely beautiful and i love it.

dp you pronounce it noir like "noyer" or "nwa" like french people. as pretentious as it is, i say "nwa" like my gay friends intsruct me to. when all else fails, i just ask a gay guy. we've been working on this one song, and then we're gonna hit this town like a ton of bricks. once we finish "pretty and evil" our record will be done, and we can start playing live again. our biggest problem is that the only friends we have are other artists. if you got any tips on getting people to like you, we're all ears. keep up the good work, man. you're truly a credit to our city.
be easy,
ryan

Feb 7 2008 6:58 AM

whoa. my guitarist bones, was all like "jeremy's new shit is amazing" and i was all like "yuh, i'll totally check it out." that was like a week ago, and i had just forgotten, until i was parusing our f friends, and right next to forty minutes of hell was film noir, and i remembered. i was more than pleasently suprised. i thoroughly enjoy everything you do, both with black swan and film noir. i'm a huge fan of "eno-esque" sound manipulation. but you need to share this stuff with more people. sometimes projects just take their time getting where they're going, but i really think that you're doing neat shit here. can't wait to hear more.
my roomates make fun of how gay for black swan i am. i just really like how you guys play. it's based in simplicity, and sounds like you all work hard to bring feeling to your music. but yeah, film noir is some good shit.

well, thank you very much.
we go through these stages where we get really "pop" and then we make the song all wierd after we write them. but, we have a general rule for listening to our shit; and that is, "if you don't like one song, try the next one." we aim for diversity, and i feel good about most of our songs. we do need to play, though. it'll prolly be soon.
anyways, thanks for listening to us. i think this film noir music is really graceful and subtle. you guys' biggest strength is your ability to be delicate with music.
just out of curiosity, how long have you been playing?
